It's only the first half, and yes we weren't exactly playing great, but we usually have something in us to get a goal like that. I just hope we can hold on now or get another one or two, try and put the game to bed.

bebe is a bit hit and miss .. he has the attributes and all that , but some of the crossing has been shocking ..
not slating him btw .. he clearly has a lot to learn and there is a reason fergie didnt start with him ..
that said .. more game time = more chances of improving quick

Lets be fair to the lad. He came on to replace Hargreaves early on, he's very inexperienced and a few months ago he was playing in the 2nd division in Portugal. Big step up for the lad and he looks nervous.
A calming half time team talk will settle him down.
We could do with Scholes on to replace O'Shea, who's done alright but he normally does the defensive duties in midfield when actually Wolves have alot of quality in passing and just pass the ball straight through midfield.
Scholes can come on and distribute the ball much better. Possibly the worst half of football all season (and thats saying something this season!). So we can only get better tbh.
Credit to Wolves. As bad as we've been they've been bloody good and should really be ahead of us frankly.

It's not that he needs him fresh for City, it's that he needs him for that game full stop. If Scholes comes on and gets booked, he's out of that City game. We just can't afford to let that happen IMO.

I ve been pretty happy with Park's performance over this past month. I think he has scored 3 goals in like the last 5-6 games.
Lucky to get the lead. Won't be suprised if we actually conceed because the play in general has been very average.

Bebe's nervous, you can tell he's overhitting them because of nerves. Give him some time to get the shock out of the system and he'll come good for this match. At least he's not making any mistake defensively.
I think it's the weakest first XI we've put out in a league game in many a year, obviously not counting the last game or 2 of the season when we already had the league wrapped up.
I counted over ten minutes at one point when we didn't even manage to play a single pass!...and I didn't start counting at zero, just after I noticed we hadn't played any passes for a while.

That's why I don't understand all the moaning about the team today. Like I said earlier, the only thing that surprised me today was Berbatov missing but he's most likely being rested for City.
There are various players injured or who have that virus. What we have today is pretty much all that's available at this moment in time. Is it ideal? No it's not. We'd all love a completely fit squad to choose from, but that's not how it works all the time in football. We just have to go with what we have available and so far we're 1-0 up which is enough for me at the moment.
Has anyone else noticed Hernandez coming pretty deep in the first half? I think he should let the wingers and the midfielders to do that and he needs to make those runs he is good at.

No team will have a better chance to win a PL game at OT than Wolves today. Horrendous team we've put out. Just glad we're winning. A smash and grab 1-0 will suit me fine today. We'll surely get back some players for midweek.
Rafael, Scholes, Carrick, Nani and Berba would make a HUGE difference.
