Manchester Utd v Everton

Blow me bitch, the scottish player is useless and the only reason he's getting a game now and then is because of the injury to park and Ole.

Nope, no Cahill. I didn't list him since he's been injured for a while now. Their most important player surely.
Also, no Hibbert, but Naysmith might make it.

Anyone know who Everton's back up keeper is, as obviously Howard won't be able to play. Good that Johnson is not fit for the game as well.

Everton boss David Moyes is resigned to being without Andy Johnson for Wednesday's game with Manchester United.

Johnson is struggling with a hamstring injury which forced him to miss last weekend's draw at Charlton.

Moyes believes the injury is not too serious, but concedes the game at Old Trafford has come too soon for Johnson.

"He got the injury the previous week but tried to play with it," said Moyes.

"Although it's not too bad, it isn't likely he will play against United."

It means James McFadden is likely to continue in attack alongside James Beattie.

According to Physioroom.com as of today . . .

L. Saha - hamstring - no return date
C. Ronaldo - ankle - no return date
O. Solskjaer - hamstring - 29th Nov 06
P. Ji-Sung - torn ankle ligaments - 11th Dec 06

A. Johnson is out for Everton with hamstring problems and Tim Howard will not be allowed to play against United.

The lack of depth on the bench, especially in the striker department, is now becoming a problem. :(

I'm a little worried about this fixture. Giggs may well be rested (he really needs it) and we don't know if Saha and CR7 will be playing.

I would worry that the loss of these players, and the aftermath of a draining game against Chelsea, will lead to a mediocre performance. Everton have not been playing as well as they were at the start of the season but they are still capable of frustrating United like they did last season.

----------------- Van Der Sar

Neville ----- Ferdinand ---- Vidic ----- Heinze

Fletcher ----- Carrick ---- O'Shea ----- Evra

Hope that's not the case, but i can still see us winning despite that weakened team. They've got their own problems and our defense still looks strong.
Weak Team - 1-0
Strong Team - 3-0

I have a strong disliking of Everton

Here we have a team, who have their ball boys collect in all the spare balls when they take the lead at home. A team who's fans stay behind in their thousands, to complain to the police that a footballer swore at them. A team who at Old Trafford last year, began to time waste horribly after just 8 minutes. A team who mysteriously destroyed their own playing surface, days before back to back games with United and Chelsea, then blamed Old Trafford for it somehow, before amazingly relaying the surface the day after the later of the two games (they got completely trounced in both games regardless).

Bitter, cheating twats.

Everton have Cahill, AJ and Howard missing. Those are their three best players this season.

I hope we don't have to play this team.
If we do our bench is going to be dreadful:wenger:

Why no Giggs?

And to those criticsing it. With the possibility of injury keeping Saha and Ronaldo at least out of the starting XI, that side preferably with Giggs should be enough, and what choice do we have either way?

If we start with that line up, i reckon 1-0, Evra to score ;).

Fletcher has been very good this season .Was even one of the top 3 players for us in a few matches. He is never going to world class or first team quality for usbut he is going to a pretty good player for us .[judging by his form this season only.]
And Richardson has no chance of even being a squad player for us to be honest.
