90% of teams play better football than us
It seemed to me Herrera was the one who would've given us something different in midfield (speed, composure, bite). Fellaini is a lump.
Our midfield was completely dominated against Liverpool
That's what I'm hoping - I was worried after the Liverpool and Chelsea matches that Moyes is going to favour the more defensively sound attackers which would hinder our attack. If it allows us to field something like;
RvpKagawa Rooney NaniFellaini Carrickthen I'm all for it.
Fellaini's been playing at the top level for a lot of years, Cleverley has not. What's to suggest he'll suddenly come on leaps and bounds? Had he remained at Everton there'd have been no significant improvement. Maybe being at a better (with all due respect) club will aid his development, but I doubt it.
.
Come on still defending them ?
No point in argueing then, they can do everything they fecking want, and we should just shut up and keep all our criticism (justified or not) for ourself... Not a very healthy principle !
I'am not saying i could do it any better, yet i'am not the one they gave the job to. I'am not the one that is to succeed Fergie or Gill, who both did a fantastic job at the club, and i'am not the one who gets paid £5million a year in salary to do his job. Does that mean i can't see what a mess they made of things.... you only have to compare with other clubs and use your common sense to see they completely fecked up !
If you can't see something has gone terribly wrong at the club or that something is stinking over there, you will never. Just keep your eyes closed and imagine it never happend, just keep saying to yourself, everything is alright, Moyes is a good manager and Woodward is an excellent negotiatior, they both did brilliant business for the club, keep repeating it to yourself and maybay you will start to believe it aswell.
I doubt Fellaini will make any difference to Moyes thinking. Welbeck and Valencia are just Moyes kind of players, hard grafters and despite having Fellaini in CM at Everton they still favoured that on the wings at Everton
Hardly had the quality at his disposal though so it's still possible - if he continues to neglect the flair players then I think we'll struggle as a team.
What size?Anyone got a lighter to burn my Fellaini shirt btw?
First kit i bought with a name on the back and a year later he leaves!![]()

He might be a microphone headed feck, but now he's our microphone headed feck.
Fellaini 7 is it? Will look well on my new home shirt.
Fellaini at 24 was a better player than Cleverley at 24 and he is a better player now. Well the fact that he is playing at a better football club with better players will allow him to play in a different role and different tactics. He will craft the poorer parts of his game that he wasn't able to develop with us due to how we used him.
We will know be a massive threat for every corner. Robin pinpointing Fellaini's head should be nice.

Young?I'll reserve judgment of the signing 'til the end of the season at least.
But I will say this, I can't remember a Manchester United signing being met with near universal underwhelming.
Kagawa/Nani will be a combination of Young/Valencia/Welbeck.I agree with this.
The one thing that makes me think this is a a crap signing is that we won't play the above players.
Young?
Price tag doesn't help Fellaini though.
Very disappointed with this signing. It shows a complete lack of ambition from Moyes. He brought the coaching staff from Everton, when a world class setup was already in place at United. Now he is bringing one of his old players, for an inflated fee, at the last moment, after failing spectacularly to secure other players. This is going to be a very difficult year.
We haven't even officially announced this yet have we?
Still no announcement...the feck are we waiting for? Is the guy now taking us to the cleaners over personal terms? Seeing as we're in a bit soft position...
