Couldn't give a few fecks about how much more we paid over his release clause. 'We've' got the money. We need somebody like him and I think he may be the best thing in the middle of his type since Roy Keane. Lets feckin av it !
Not to big a fan of this signing to be honest. We've overpaid for him massively, and that's before even considering the release clause.
For £27m, you want a midfielder who's great on the ball and has an excellent technique. Providing he plays in midfield for us, Fellaini isn't going to offer that in abundance and will be more of a physical player who does the dirty work. They're handy to have in the squad, but I wouldn't have paid what we did to get one.
If anything having Fellaini frees up Carricks defensive responsibilities, giving him more chance to get forward and let his creative side shine through.

Fellaini is better on the ball then any of our current CMs.
Fellaini is not better on the ball than Carrick.

Could be. More importantly, we have both options. Carrick is also quite handy at slicing defences apart in the final third. Fellaini could be given the more defensive role against hoof merchants like Stoke and West Ham too, rather than them usually just chipping our midfield over and over again.I actually think Carrick will still sit and Fellaini will be the one pushing forward more. We all know Fellaini can cause havoc in the final third, and I'd like to see him be the one linking up with the attack from midfield. Carrick is excellent at what he does, which is controlling play from deep with his passing (long and short).
You'd swear we were after buying a cart horse, he's an absolute quality player, regardless of overpaying.Indeed, I'm enjoying the fact more & more people are starting to see what a impact Fellaini could have for us. I'm looking forward to him & Carrick playing alongside each other, could be one of the best CM partnerships we've had in a while.
Sorry if this has been posted already guys, just been reading the last few pages only: Fellaini's first interview
Perhaps there's a chance that we'll take another bash at the 4-3-3 that we began against Wigan with.will be interesting who Moyes plays in midfield v Palace. I still think Cleverly has a big future with us. Unlike some I think he played well in all three games so far.
With Fellani signed, Kagawa and Carrick can be free to express themselves.

Fellaini and Cleverley ahead of Carrick.
A front three of RvP, Rooney and Nani, *should* be devastating.
Yeah, I have a feeling this will be a great one from him.Nani once he has had a few games under his belt...I think we will see a great season from him.

In reflection, I am certain Fellaini will be a terrific addition to our first team. Extremely well rounded and someone who we can have confidence in. There is no dout, our performances (attacking wise) will improve drastically from here.

I think he'll do well but we really need to sign someone world class next year. We will win games but they will be boring
Love it!
What a creepy interview. He sounds like a sleazy porno director.
A lot has been said about his ability and that he isn't in the fabregas/thiago mold of silky technical players. However, this club has always been built around character and personality first and foremost. I think Fellaini has both in abundance and that will really help him to become a success here. It would be nice to have someone physical and imposing in the midfield. We haven't had that since Keano left. Only worry with Fellaini is that he might slow our play down, but then again we haven't exactly been playing the game at breakneck speed since Ronaldo left.
Scourned Scouser Natalie Rooney has revealed love rat Marouane Fellaini's embarassing bedroom tactics.
The blonde babe, cousin of Manchester United star Wayne said she first met afro man Fellaini when they were introduced last month by Everton youth player Jose Baxter.
Fellaini was said to be instantly smitten when he saw a pic of Nat's goregous figure and 32G boobs on Baxter's phone and began texting her instantly.
And it wasn't long before the Everton star, who has been dating long term love Laura Binet, romanced Nat, 19..... by asking her to get her bum out.
The Everton star even dropped his own trousers on their first date. "He kept saying, 'Don't be shy - I will show you mine," complained Nat.
Natalie told the News of the World: "It was so exciting dating my favourite player, but he was only interested in one thing - sex.
"But the sneak didn't tell me he had a girlfriend back in Belgium.
"Had I known I wouldn't have gone near him. Then he had the cheek to dump ME!"
"He would text me in broken English, he wrote: "Com please me only my family no hier Please for me babe."
She agreed to go to his plush flat by Liverpool's Princess Dock.
Nat said: "I thought he looked like Screech the geek from Saved By The Bell, so was a bit 'whatever' about it.
But Fellaini's chat up lines didn't get any smoother and asked the buxom babe if he could see her rear.
"He was trying to say he had seen my bum in a photo and asked if he could see it in real life." said Nat.
"I told him 'no way'. Then he dropped his trousers and mooned right at me. He did have a lovely bum and I slapped it - but still refused to show him mine!"
"He asked to see my boobs, and I love getting them out so I showed him. He said, 'Big, very big!'"
And next week they'll be even BIGGER when Nat flies out to Mills & Mills clinic on the Costa del Sol for a second £3,500 bra-busting op taking her up to a 32JJ.
Forgot how hilarious it was.![]()
He won't let people bully him and push him around like some of our players did on Sunday.
I think he is.
Carrick can delay on the ball at times, and when he's closed down his touch can let him down.
"Big, very big!".
Then raise but one of those girder like eyebrows. He will just quietly whisper in their ears with that creepy voice of his. Be enough to scare anyone off.
I'd like to see him start next to Carrick next game with Kagawa just in front of them with a front 3 or Rooney, Nani and RvP. That should get interesting.
Depends what you're talking about. He's better at dribbling and driving forward with the ball. Carrick is a better passer.Fellaini is not better on the ball than Carrick.
