Hmm fair enough, I was thinking back to the Bayern game where Fletcher allowed Gibson to play in the attacking midfield role and he used the space fairly well.

well it's not like he has not started in big games before. If Fergie starts him in games like this surely he believes in his abilities. At least we should see the match, before passing the he's shit judgment..

With Anderson, Park and Hargreaves all injured (along with Giggs who can also play central), we are down to our 'depth of squad' options in midfield. With all the games to come, does not surprise me Scholes is being saved for those.

Great start really, playing the European possession game we've learnt so well.
 
Am so delighted by the progress of nani this season - it been an astonishing maturation from him. When I see him on the team sheet, I feel confident and know that at a bare minimum, we will get at least some glimpses of genuine quality from him. Our coaching staff have done an amazing job with him.
 
Rooney Should've done better there, but nearly a decent chance..
