That's a nice gesture by the hospital.

For others from other countries: my hospital charged my insurance company and the insurance company said I owed $100,000 when my kids spent a week in the NICU when they were born. I told them that it should be covered by my insurance as I didn't order the NICU service, the doctors did.
In the end I didn't pay up as the insurance company backed off.
Americans are fecked up when it comes to healthcare. End of rant....

Along with their decision not to video or record the original interviews and then not to use the polygraph equipment having brought it in and obtaining her permission to use it.

That decision alone would be enough to give me reasonable doubt if I was on the jury.
