To be fair, Amadeus doesn't really understand football that well so not sure if there's even a favourite team involved here.
Poch will get Chelsea back to the mean, a top three team who may win a cup here and there. Wouldn't expect him to create anything special as that not really what he does.
It's an easy job to take really, Chelsea can't do much worse than what they currently are so any improvements no matter how small will be amplified and look good on Poch.

I don't think you'd be looking at Chelsea and saying 55 points next year is going to be a great season. For most people, Chelsea finishing outside top 4 without a cup is a year of failure. There's a lot of work to do to get there and I don't think you'll be on odds at the start of the season for top 4.

I think he has an easier task than Potter and comparing them is arguably unfair.
Poch will get a summer transfer window, the new signings more bedded in and more time on the training ground.

That's reasonable but none of that has anything to do with my post about us not improving.
We're going to finish in the bottom half this season. 5th would be a big improvement, if obviously not the ultimate goal.

Agreed Potter was seemingly learning his best 11 game to games at least Poch will have time to set that long before the season starts, what will be something to see is what he makes of the signings they've already made and who he deems to fit with what he wants

I suppose it's similar to the situation he found at Spurs. They had signed a load of players with the Bale money, some were awful but he also used some to build his team. However, it doesn't seem like Chelsea have a Kane waiting in the wings
He might steer them to a Europa conference spot, which would be a great achievement for a club that sits in the bottom half of the table.
He’s coming into the job with zero expectation. If things don’t go as planned he’ll get a hefty payout. It’s a win-win for him.
He's not the new manager now, won't start until this season is over.
I won’t predict anything until I know what the squad looks like for next season. We have to find a way to get rid of the excess and trim the squad back down to a reasonable level. If we do that and manage to sign a GK, DM and ST, I’d consider that an excellent summer and Poch would be starting the season in a good position.

Agreed, people overlook actually having a Kane is the key for why Spurs were so good under him and players like him do not grow on trees.

They won't leak goals and will be resilient. James and Chilwell will probably have their best seasons next year. I don't know anything beyond that. That squad is totally unbalanced with no striker . Would be lucky to get top 4.
Disagree actually. He was their main threat with Son but their wing backs were the reason they were so strong. They essentially played the same way Liverpools fbs do but with the cover of an extra CB. Without that wide play they weren’t threatening anyone, just look at them now.

Which managers did Chelsea sack prematurely and on a whim in the last 15 years? Ancelotti is the only one that comes to mind. Maybe Tuchel as well, but the writing was on the wall when the ownership changed. All the other ones were completely justified IMO.

Correct. I have supported united much longer than I have supported Pochettino. It is just a shame that United didn't go for Pochettino. This season, I won't judge ETH because he is pushing us in the right direction, but having more loss than Ole isn't a good sign. I will see how ETH does next season
Getting the right striker will change Chelsea similiar to United getting the right striker. If Chelsea was in champion league football, I will be almost certain they will get Kane and Chelsea would immediately challenge for the title next season. Without that competition, it will be hard to see who Chelsea will get. I would stay clear of strikers like lukaku, lautaro and strikers that are not the traditional no.9. Kane, felix and nkunku should be chelsea striking option for next season with fofana and Borja going out on loan.
This Chelsea squad is definitely unbalanced and they will need to trim the fat. Their wing back will thrive next season, but for that to happen, the will need a number 6 and 8 that are good in possession and fill the hole left by their marauding fullback. Enzo and kante as 6 and rice as their 8 will suit that system

Kane is ideal for them. His relationship with poch and leadership quality will have you guys challenging for a title next season. Any other strikers will be a gamble. Oshimen lacks the technical ability of a typically Pochettino striker, so he could be a gamble. Rasmus holjuland maybe more ideal if Pochettino can't get Kane. In addition, they would need rice to complete the spine of the team. His relationship with Mount, would bring good chemistry to the team and also the pressing football that poch wants to adopt.
As a goal keeper, I would say onana. Poch likes playing from the back and revolutionized the quarter back center backs in the premier league with aldwerwield and verthoghen. Having a gk that is comfortable on the ball is also ideal to a Pochettino system.
Correction to the system, I would actually employ poch to keep kovacic as back up to rice as they will need a midfielder that can bring the ball up from deep in the midfield
Lukaku did say he wanted to leave but unless Inter take him he will inevitably come back. Inter have said that’s a 6/10 possibility. I make that 2/10 because Italian clubs are notorious for signing players on loan and not getting them permanently. There’s also a few murmurs that Poch has asked to have a look at Kakkers before anything is decided.

We won’t sign Kane ever. It’s a non-starter. Levy won’t sanction a sale and we would need to wait an entire season to try and get him in a free. Even then, I don’t see him even considering us. Can see him going to City on a free and Haaland going to Madrid next summer for £150mil with City then further reinforcing with that money.
