i watched espn soccernet press pass around 12 hours ago and they where under the impression we would offer him a better take it or leave it contract(you can say what you like about tommy smith but he is sticking up for united big time and giving it to rooney

Cant see how he can stay, just cant, hes burnt too many bridges, the players (his teammates), the manager, the fans, hes let them all down, just dont see how that can be papered over with a new contract.
