Exactly. Don't really blame the Glazers for today's football but their presence doesn't help at all.

what a dark day for United. Chelsea will be laughing at our score line as will Lille. EVERY player played fecken shit house maybe ronaldo was ok but geeze we got owned by a team I do not rate at all. It was VDS fault, first goal should of been saved and outcome wouldnt have been like this, this is the first time I can remember were I have turned the Television off before the game has ended, it hurt to watch...
 
When you think this can't get any worse .... i have been winding up me boro fan mate all week abotu how we would absolutely tank them, be sure that im avoiding him for a while.

How i will manage it when we have a 6 a side match thursday i dunno, but im gonna be a bit stealthy until we beat the rent boys.

Agreed, if VDS saved a routine shot, then we wouldn't be talking like this. But the cracks have shown and they are not good. Not good at all. :(

I reckon they'll have to spend big in January, or risk not getting a top 4 finish. No CL money and all..
 
we cant even pass, when lille played better posession football then united did againt us on our own ground, it was pretty obvious midfield was a joke..........well way before than to be honest, play richardson in midfield ahead of one of the others i say, his quik, he has experience their from west brom last season......his been involved with the england set up...his got good techinique......and he'll never be a winger and isnt a left back even though his done very good their......
 
I hope they get six now - it might send the message - dont ever play fletcher instead of a winger - to score we need to supply the fwds - wingers can do this - our bollox midfield cannot - so play wingers - X FECKING 2

yeah. midfield is a joke. Scholes cant function with fletcher, who adds nothing to the team. Midfield of smith park and scholes with 3 Rs may work. the back 4 and VDS are still quality, even though Rio and O Shea were rubbish today.

I would in no way blame Van der Saar, the problem comes from 2 things, 1. We have not got enough players in our squad who are world class midfielders, Keane is the only one and he is injured. Scholes is having it difficult because he has no one else around him in midfield who can actually play there. Smith is dedicated, but he is not a midfielder. Fletcher looks lost. 2? it took me so long to get 1. together that I forgot what 2 was?
 
in the long run it might be good that we got hammered today 4-0 instead of 1-0, 2-0..because hopefully it'll open up fergies and the owners eyes that our squad needs some signings

To be honest..now we are probably out of the running, makes the rest of the season quite exciting...who will we beat..who we wont'..reminds me of the 80's :-) Its not all bad. So we are not the best anymore....Liverpool have had it..so will chelsea. Lets just enjoy just being a top ten team for a while :-) Wel...hopefully top ten!!!!!!
