Milan - Manchester United

Gettin feckin nervous. Because I have been so busy in work my mind was miles away from this game up until 10 minutes ago when I logged on here :nervous:

My heart is going to go with 0-2 United (2-1 United Agg)

My head is going to go with an early Milan goal followed by a late United goal. Blistering attacks by United at the end but too little too late.

1-1 (2-1 Milan Agg)

Sorry.

If that actually happens, I'll lose all respect for you and punch you

Noodle I reckon that my prediction is what quite a lot of people are fearing will happen - including your good self. ;)

True, but you're the one that's come out and said it. So if it happens, I'll think 'if that bearded cnut hadn't have said this would happen'.

I'm staying positive though, hopefully Ruud will give them a bit more to think about this time. Even if he doesn't score, his mere presence means they'll have to look out for him, which could leave more room for the likes of Rooney, Scholes, Ronnie etc.

Not nervous at all actually! Now I'm going to play Discworld Noir some more before I get nervous.

Manchester United have reached the knock-out rounds of the Champions League for the ninth season in a row.

This sequence represents a competition record.

No players are suspended for this match.

For AC Milan, Gennaro Gattuso and Alessandro Nesta are one yellow away from suspension.

Paolo Maldini is Milan's most experienced Champions League player with 81 appearances, all for AC Milan.

United's most experienced player in the competition is Gary Neville who has played 90 matches.

AC Milan have kept clean sheets in their last three Champions League matches.

Manchester United have not won any of their last four Champions League away matches since winning 1-0 at Panathinaikos in November 2003.

AC Milan have failed at the hands of English clubs on three occasions - Chelsea beat them in the 1965/1966 Fairs Cup, Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-finals of the 1971/1972 Uefa Cup and Manchester City in the 1978/1979 Uefa Cup.

Not confident about our chances tonight. :(

But I dearly hope the lads can win it though and qualify.

well, if we dont have the same bad luck as in the first game and we can play at our best level, then there is a good chance to beat milan. if...

I, the eternal optimist think that we will lose 2-0, (3-0 agg)

You do realise that all of those little heads. Every little hat and scarf. Every owner of every banner and every single flare that's lit. every whistle and horn and every person that buys every single dodgy pizza that's sold. Every seller of every bottle of water and every dullard who collects every ticket. Every one of the militant nasty bastard offials and every one of the thousands that are crammed into tiny bars all around..

are only there to watch United!

Roll back the years tonight United remeber Benfica 5-1 in in 66. Real Madrid 3-3 in 68, and of course Juve and Inter in 99 - we need some magic - something very United - I hope the gods are with us tonight

UNITED

2:1, Ruud 13' Crespo 66' and Scholes pops up with a winner in 83rd minute :)

It's time for us to stand up against our underperforming in europe ways.

7-0 to Milan it is then ;)
