Fletcher finds Nani who runs at West Ham again. but eventually comes to nothing.

Goal to United

An AWESOME PIECE OF SKILL by BERBATOV. Does a shimmy in the box, turns the defender, just about keeps it in play slides it across the six yard box and RONALDO is there to tuck it in.

What a goal. Absolutely ridiculous skill from Berbatov to beat the defender on the byline. He cuts into the box and his pass is turned in by Ronaldo. Outrageous that from Berbatov.
 
Berbatov again with a lovely bit of skill to work some space. He finds the onrushing Fletcher, whos cross evades everyone.
 
Double for Ronaldo. Our play is focused on the left, Ronaldo is effectively playing off Berbatov tonight.
 
32 minutes played and it looks like United are enjoying themselves.
 
I have to say I don't recognise half of West Ham's players tonight. They're really not that good either.
 
Anderson scratches his head, as if to say "what was i thinking?" after shooting from about 40 yards. Needless to say, high and wide.
 
Anderson tries one from thirty five yards and as usual nothing happens.
 
Rafael is looking good at right back, not giving their left winger a moment of space
 
West Ham are trying to pass the ball around, but United pressing the ball very strongly, and are constantly breaking up their attacks.
 
Lovely link up between Ronaldo and Nani. One two and Ronaldo finds himself in the box. His cut back to Berbatov is intercepted though.
 
The tricks are coming out and nice interchanging play by Anderson and Ronaldo which leads to Ronaldo with some space in the box but his cross for Berbatov is blocked.
 
Rafael with a fizzing cross into the box is cleared. West Ham counter but DiMichaeli (sp) is offside after a great spot by Evra.
 
West Ham win a corner on their left wing.
 
West Ham are now being allowed to have the ball for longer than five seconds

Tevez finds Ronaldo down the right for once, his cross his high and goes out of play and back in.
 
Bellamy for once did nothing wrong but is given a talking to by the ref for clattering into PIG accidentlyu
 
Behrami down injured. Seemed to get his studs stuck in the ground, and twisted something.
 
Faubert crosses into the box, cleared by Ferdinand.

West Ham fail to keep pocession and a West Ham player, Bahrami is down injured
 
Seems to have hurt his calf.
 
Looks like he is going to come off and be replaced by Luis Boa Morte.
 
West Ham's injury list seems to pile and Zola wonders what has he got into
 
45 minutes played. 2 minutes injury time.
 
Evra dinks a cross into the box after being found by Nani. Tevez of all people meets it with his head but Green makes a comfortable save.
 
Anderson finds Nani with a great long range ball. Evra roams forward and picks up the ball from Nani and crosses it in and Tevez gets in between the two Hammer defenders but his header is to weak to beat Green
 
Tevez runs back and forth across the box, and hits a weak shot. Defence fail to clear and Fletcher gets a shot away which is cleared. Ref then blows for Half Time.
 
Some dodgy defending almost leads to a chance for Fletcher who's shot is blocked.

Half time 2-0 to United. Maybe that boy Ronaldo is back?
 
United will be happy with their first half display. They have been well on top, without getting out of 3rd gear really. Nearly all of United's attacking play has come down that left flank, with Nani having a field day against Faubert. Another couple of goals are in this if United want.

Best players: Nani and Fletcher.
 
The first half has really been a stroll for us. West ham have been awful and the Bahrami injury won't help. Even though Ronaldo has bagged the brace ffor us tonight it is Berbatov who will be remembered for this half for that awesome skill to set up Ronaldo

Nani has been sensational down the left, hopefully the people who dislike him because "they don't like the look of him" will shut the feck up.
 
Collison coming on for West Ham. Young lad so big night for him. Etherington off.
