I'm not really sure about that booking, think both of them went in the same way into a 50-50 and Scholes gets booked. I'm not sure, United were cruising here really, Carrick is coming on now, I'd guess for Berba.
 
Lennon cuts in from the right and shoots but easily saved at his near post.
 
Class take by Fletcher in the box, totally deleted a Spurs chance
 
Rooney with a great run down the left, cuts into the box and trys drilling it near post (like his goal against them last year) but Cudicini saved. Corner to come.
 
It's quite literally counter attack after counter attack. But my mind can't help but wander to the derby.

Not really a left wing role, just getting forward as they seem to have focussed their efforts else where since they could get very little change out of him.

Vidic after flying elbow first in to Crouch in an aerial battle. Pure luck he's still on the field, would be gone if it weren't for Scholes sending off as he's been booked already.

Rooney got it on the right, nutmegged Hutton and kept fending off the other defender and moved in to the box and drilled it between Cudicini's legs.
United have been good in patches today. They could have very easily conceded more, but I'm content with this.
Spurs deserved a trouncing for saying they expected 4 points from United and Chelsea.

How good have Evra and Rooney been today? The Tottenham goal was a blessing in disguise me thinks. Perhaps the sending off as well?
 
Fletcher with a good effort from thirty five yards but parried, Rooney then trys to tuck it in the bottom corner from the edge of the box but tipped out for a corner.

Fletcher, Rooney and Evra the standout performers for me. Anderson too, but I'm not getting carried away by the goal. Foster's save from Jenas was crucial, but Evra is the MOM for me.

I'm not sure where the pundits were getting the Lennon will rape Evra stuff from, but Evra's shown the class you expect from him.
