David Moyes got castigated for this kind of defeatism. I am done with Jose Mourinho now when that is his attitude when he has more resources than nearly any other manager in the world. Embarrassing.

Shhhh. He’s won three PL titles and the treble at Inter. Show him some respect.

He's not the same Mourinho anymore.

He's just phoning it in - his prime was years ago. So much of his talk is simply to defend himself (his reputation) and so little of it is to defend the club (and it's values).

Constantly lowering expectations. "Little horse" tactics fly at Chelsea but not here, if he isn't up to the pressure of expectation he should just walk

Sack that coward. No matter what you are a manager of Manchester United you simply can not say things like that. Feck off.

What’s wrong with that? Moyes was talking about a team that we’re champions of England. Don’t blow things out of context this wildly

Bingo. Mou is for Mou, and will shit all over the club as soon as he is finally dumped.

Never should have been a Utd manager, not even directly after Fergie retired.

Didn't we all think that before a ball was kicked?

He’s had 3 summer windows and all the time in between to get us up to a level where that might not be the case. He’s never gonna get us to that level.

Supporters think all kinds of shit (you might have noticed that). Doesn't matter what's likely or not.

The manager of Manchester United (especially one that has spent as much money as he has) should keep expectations high.

What do you expect?

Juventus is one of the best teams in the world, of course they are favorites for the group.

Unacceptable conduct. Just when he gets close to winning back some support he knives himself. I think the man is conditioned to make things hard for himself.

Explains the lack of subs. If Valencia had beaten YB we would've made subs to try and change things. We didn't because we were content with the score.

It just seems that every game we play now, the media orgasms over the opposition.
Mourinho makes the opposition look amazing.

Don’t get this OP. He’s right ffs. Juve probably the best team in Europe at the mo. Bookies favourites to win it. What did you expect him to say?

How can you be surprised after what he said in his post match presser after we got knocked out by Sevilla? The man is a neanderthal that gets paid 15m£ a year for making us play like Sheffield Wednesday.

Too honest from Jose....it's painful hearing him talk about Juv like that. feck me we are going to hell in an handcart

I said it at the time and I'll still say it. The response to that Moyes' statement was a complete overreaction.

He had a 50m signing on the bench. Why signing Fred if he's not ready to play him?

We are United, we should be fighting for top of everything and to the last second of every game.

Think Jose saying we are always fighting for second is a sly dig at the board for not giving the players he wanted.

I have no problem with Juventus being favourites. I do have a problem with the manager of Manchester United taking a public attitude of 'what did you expect us to do?' at home against anyone.

Sure, realistically it was a three way tussle with Juve favourites. But that is not the attitude of a United manager, especially in public

True. The interviewer should've asked him what is still needed to be able to compete with the likes of Juventus.

You can say these comments are unacceptable. But if the board aren't investing what the manager needs then something's got to give.

I honestly don’t think you can count this summer. He wasn’t backed. Chickens are home to roost right in the middle of the directors box it would seem.

He needs to stop fecking holding 3 fingers up too. I don't give a shit how many titles he won with Chelsea, he's at Utd now and he's won feck all titles since he's been here.

I think he'll be gone by the Derby.

Guys a joker, all about him, talking about chiellini and Bonucci. Clear dig about the signings he didn't get. Feck off.
