Have you forgotten to take your pills today? You are all kinds of wrong.
Sir Alex Ferguson offered him a contract, he was in our plans. But the money he requested was way above what a player who had yet to be a first team regular should be asking for. To quote SAF “There are one or two football agents I simply do not like, and Mino Raiola, Paul Pogba’s agent is one of them. I distrusted him from the moment I met him. We had Paul under a three-year contract, and it had a one-year renewal option which we were eager to sign. Raiola suddenly appeared on the scene and our first meeting was a fiasco. He and I were like oil and water."
To say 'you lot' say he backstabbed us is wrong. The manager said that. Let me repeat it for you, SAF said "It is disappointing. I don't think he showed us any respect at all, to be honest. I'm quite happy that if they [footballers] carry on that way, they're probably better doing it away from us." That is our manager, not the fans.
As for your claim about Pogab's decision to leave, that is based on Scholes' opinion. And what you conveniently have left out of that quote is that although Scholes says that Blackburn game where he was a sub was the deciding factor for Pogba he also said “But he was playing in the reserve team and wasn’t doing very well, so he didn’t really warrant that.”
So you had a manager who wanted him to stay but his agent fecked us over, and Scholes saying Pogba was not playing to a standard that warranted him being in the first team at that time. If you still want to believe that this is out of context then you are plainly delusional and ignoring statements from those who were there at the time. Not fans, our ex-manager and player.
