His passing is a problem. The Daily Telegraph have his stat for today's match at 65% for accurate passing. That's something he needs to work on.
crazy
some people on here really have a serious monkey on their back about nani, and its getting very fecking tiresome!
He's fecking 22 years old and some of you have already made your minds up he isnt good enough, and when pushed further you will say that he makes poor decisions. I cant accept that any of you dont see his obvious technical ability, the lad has some fantastic skill on him, a good shot and cross. He's even added a bit of strength to his game, and at 22 years old you think he is the complete player.
You're wrong the lot of you, and i think we'll be seeing a lot of bumped threads in a few years time where you look like muppets.
have faith in the young lad.
So you disagree with Sir Alex then?
Sorry, how is it arrogant to disagree with someone............?
For me it's arrogent to dismiss someone of Sir Alex's judgement bearing in mind he's very rarely wrong.
If you sit there and say he's shit! your saying that Sir Alex is blind...
And just to cover my arse slightly. Yes I slated foster, but I wouldn't say Sir Alex's magic touch works that well when it comes to goalkeepers. I seem to remember him saying Italians were the best and he's not bought one since Massimo (think I spelt that right)
Eh...yeah I guess I am. I kind of like to form my own opinions based on what I'm looking at. call me old fashioned.
I once heard SAF tell the fans that Ralph Milne was a great player

What the hell?
None of our players were good at passing the ball today though.
What would you say about Fletchers first 100 games?
I would say he looked like a decent player. and a good addition to the squad. he still does. then again I would have a fit hargreaves ahead of Fletch. But back to Nani. What has he done so far to merit the leap of faith so many are desperate to make for him?
really? how many of his first 100 were on the right then? The position where he was absolute pants?....
who are we talking about now?
There are some players that can do no wrong. There are some players that can do no good.
fletcher...

fletcher...
when he was introduced for a good while he played on the right and the his 'supporters' were rare...he's only turned that round in the last 2 or so years in his favoured position
Why are you attacking Fletcher?
He's got feck to do with Nani, a player who cost a lot of money and who hasn't improved at all in two and a half years.
Even at his worst, Fletcher improved from one season to the next. It's the lack of improvement from Nani that is the hardest to take. He was better in his debut season, if anything.
why are we talking about Fletcher? I'm giving my opinion of Nani
So Nani was 8% behind our best player on the day? Not exactly a mare is it. Could have been better, could have been worse. And I mean, the only reason Welbeck's wasnt lower was because he didnt actually put crosses in. Which means Nani had to do that even more-so else nobody would have been getting the ball into the box.
1. Thing I've noticed. He just can't beat his fullback. Even Evra beats his man more and Nani hasn't shown the pace he showed in his debut year. He's just looking more and more predictable and that isn't helping his game while his crossing still has a big question mark and to the stats 65% passing is full-backs stats. I'm sure Evra made way better passes. Is he taking passing lessons from O'shea ?
O'Shea put in most of the crosses I think and set up the goal!!! His passing rate was still 65% and Berbatov's (although possibly our best player and definitely our best attacker) had a very low success rate also. Saying Nani was only 8% off our best player is fairly inaccurate. It's still 65% which was only worsened by a completely off form Rooney.
I'm surprised with Welbeck's 90%.Vidic 93%
Evra 90%
Welbeck 90%
Scholes 85%
Evans 83%
Fletcher 80%
O'Shea 78%
Berbatov 73%
Nani 65%
Rooney 63%
The point is we're talking about a player who hasn't even played 90 games for the club yet.
When you look at our wingers he's the best winger we have.
If you don't rate him, how can you rate any of our wingers?
Nani has attracted really harsh critism. No wonder he's always on the phone to Ronaldo.
There is no doubt he's inconsistant but if you see the second half, that was a player stepping up and that was encouraging..
But the supporters really need to take to him. You maybe right, but I disagree and agree with Sir Alex. I think it's up to him but the supporters need to get behind him
His attitude was miles better in the second half and that's not to do with consistancy for me but rather confidence or words from sir alex
There is never any benefit of the doubt. I was listening to waddle on espn and he was saying how nani was not great in any of the games - and I just thought what a cnut. Just another jumping on someones back. There's no question when he's poor he's poor but what we should be interested in , is ensuring he reaches his potential.
Look the reality is, he's potentially our best winger. Better then park. Better then Valencia. I'm excluding giggs - he would be clearly but the fact is we can't keep holding on to giggs as a winger.
Because he was moved into his favoured position and given a consistent run of games. People were making opinions on Fletcher based on him being a winger which he is not.
It is different with Nani. He is playing in his favoured position.
Everyone was off form. And this is important, because the whole team struggled to make good passes and make good runs to receive passes. Sunderland did their jobs very well, but we didnt really rise above it like we should have been able to given the gap in quality of our players and theirs. Everything was incredibly difficult for us including the passing and, not to take anything away from O'Shea, who would have been one of my top 4 players today, but it tended to be only him who was afforded much space to be given the ball.
hes an expensive signing that has shown no improvement over his united career and if anything is more frustrating now than ever. you see what you want to see.
That's very true. Well nani is trying to make supporters look to the future without Ronaldo and giggs in a year or so.....
It's like the guy that replaces Sir Alex if you ask me. Can't win..
I'm surprised with Welbeck's 90%.

who was attacking fletcher?
Oh and btw fletcher gave the ball away cheap for the second goal, but yeah who was attacking fletcher? Me? Now I would have remembered if I did...
me or Sir Alex?
look, he has a good start to the season and it's quickly forgotten isn't it? Two bad games and a dodgy half and there's no improvement.......is there?
Last time I looked he had a pretty good second half.
I'm surprised with Welbeck's 90%.

I agree.
The problem is that people are comparing Nani to Ronaldo. It just can't work. It cannot work in Nani's favour. Ronaldo is one of the best wingers ever. If Nani is expected to do what Ronaldo did, we will all be in for disappointment. He is not Ronaldo. He is not Giggs. They were/are exceptional players. It's similar to everyone comparing every midfielder to Roy Keane. It's unfair on the players.
some are. others are judging Nani on his own merits
I thought it was the ref who gave the ball away to be honest.
