Doesn't work like that though does it, players who are cheap finds and tun out alright and others being expensive. £30m for a 22 year old who's on of the top scorers in the league is about right when you consider the price of some of these foreign hyped up players abroad, some of which their clubs want more than that and yet don't have as many goals.
Also plenty of the English/British or foreign young potentials cost £10m+ these days. Hell, even Bebe was £7m ish.
