As I say, give him a fair crack to make the changes he wants. Cavani is the only one of last summer's signings to break into a team that limped over the finish line at the back end of last season.
I'm not happy with the results or performances in recent weeks but let's also assess what players we have and how they're performing. Go big in the summer to address our shortcomings and if we don't step up then that's fair enough. I can't pretend I'm inspired by the thought of getting Nagelsmann in because he's the hipsters choice though.
I don’t even want Ole sacked, but this is mental, how much backing is enough for a “fair crack of the whip?” 500 million? 600? What club not owned by a state can afford to spend these sums every summer?
