Neymar Jr | PSG | 2017/2018 performances

What a player.

Suarez strikes me as the type of guy who’s just a Cnut in real life too. He seems to TRY to cheat every game whereas neymar, pathetic as he is, is opportunistic.
Neymar strikes me as the guy who would fake being dead when you're about to square up some chaps in a street fight

I've got the opposite impression.

I guess we can never know for sure. I abhor Suarez, he’s absolutely vile. Neymar it seems tries to use the odd rough tackle as justification for rolling around. Suarez will literally bite, kick, try to injure, dive, racially abuse, hound refs, you name it he’s done it and usually more than once (even biting). He’s horrible in every way.

This is probably accurate  (edit- there should be a thread on this..x strikes me as the type of guy..)

Think a Mexican player might try end his World Cup in stoppage time

Gotta say, PSG are a notoriously difficult club to seek a move away from, but even they might have met their match in this petulant cnut who is pushing for a Real move down the line.

He was never a wise investment for them. No attachment to the club, no respect for their manager, a toxic relationship with teammates. Don't think he will win the CL with them and 50 Ligue 1 goals don't matter much.

I seriously wouldn't watch him in my national team even if it meant we are going to the World Cup every year. What a piece of shit this guy is.

Can any Brazilians on here explain to me what you think when you see this little scote and others, Silva, carrying on like they are shot? Is it not embarrassing?

Good lord what a little cnut. I want to see him cry again, I hope someone knocks out Brazil

I'd like to know this as well. I don't mind the odd gamesmanship, but the acting is so embarrassing.

He's getting better. If they reach the final, he'll be in top form.

Soon he will overtake L. Ronaldo and in 2-3 years Pele as Brazil's top scorer. Without being an out and out striker at that. Very impressive.

One of these days he'll meet an opponent who'll respond to his antics by breaking his leg.

Swap “vertebra” for “leg” and that’s basically what happened at the last one. Paradoxically, his incessant cheating probably makes him less protected by referees than most other flair players.

Can't stand this guy

Suarez is a cheating shite but he's much more likable than Neymar for some reason

There were a few previous altercations between the two of them and Layun stamped on his lower leg. Neymar then overreacts massively to try and get him sent off which doesn't work. Not defending Neymar but Layun should have been sent off. I reckon Neymar is probably laughing about it now having seen the replay.

As long as they win, they dont care i guess. They didnt grow up in England, i guess for them it is kind of acceptable

He didn't 'stamp' on him.

He gets kicked to shit and should get much better protection IMO, but with that roll he lost any credibility in my mind. Perfectly happy to watch him get kicked all game now.

I must admit reading caftards rage about him in the live thread is almost as fun as seeing him casually clinch the win for his team while still at 50% of his best form. :D

I can understand a dive as the player is trying to gain an advantage but what are the drama for after, it’s like there’s is an untalked about group that’s rate ans gives points for the extra drama.

Calling it stamping is a bit of an exaggeration to be fair.
Embarrassing by Neymar. You wouldn't even act like that if something had actually happened to you.

I don’t think anyone is denying his talent, but come on you must see that he’s a bit of a wanker?

He's a great player but a real dickhead. Cannot to watch all the drama that will eventually surround his departure from PSG

He didn't 'stamp' on him.
He literally did stamp on him if we are referring to the official meaning of the word. He even left a mark / imprint on his socks. If we associate a 'stamp' with some barbaric attack on someone who is grounded / unconscious then I agree. But it was a stamp.

That sounds brutal

Is it cringeworthy and embarrassing? Yes but I personally don’t care because Neymar isn’t the first and won’t be the last player to pull this kinda of nonsense. He is our player so we will support him but I can understand why people dislike him.
