Neymar Jr | PSG | 2017/2018 performances

Is he thick ?

How can he ask for VAR after each clear dive. does he think that the VAR ref is blind ? i don't get his reactions.

He did run away after his big dive against Fellaini.

Disgraceful little twunk.

The South American teams have been pathetic, cheating little thugs.

So glad they have all gone home.

He's half arsed this tournament.

Doesn't look anywhere near the player he was at Barca.

He's not. The likes of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Rivaldo were all much better players than Neymar.

For the national team, only Ronaldo and Rivaldo was better. Anyway the Brazilian media probably gonna blame him for this. It’s possible his antics made the ref swallow his whistle.

Offered feck all today I thought, outshone in his own position by Hazard and De Bruyne. He came, he dived and now he's fecking off for himself.

I agree. I think the ref says to himself, you know what? They're diving all night and I need to go the whole way over there to view it again.
Let's play on.

He played better than Coutinho and Jesus for me. Also Fernandinho was very poor in his game awareness.

Why didn't this cnut get any yellows for the numerous dives he committed?

That’s a very good question. Time and again we see players diving and the refs treat them with contempt for doing it, but don’t pull out a yellow. How is it ever going to be stamped out of the game if it isn’t punished? Neymar should have been sent off tonight for his antics. He’s a disgrace.

Coutinho has been better then him and is the better player. Neymar is a hype job and a twat to boot.

Amazing player, when it is easy and his team are stacked with talent. He can do his pretty tricks and histrionics while others are doing the dirty work. I have loved at this world cup the cult of personality around the top trio being a little exposed. Yes they are great players, Neymar clearly below the other 2, but it is a lot easier at club level when everything is in your favour. a more level playing field and you see truer representations of levels.

I think these PSG supporters are amused by your dedication to Neymar :)

I learn that Neymar hasn't the required level to be part of the best 11 of the French league...

OK but let's compare with 99% of your other posts :)

It's what you wrote in the 'Most hated players thread'

https://www.redcafe.net/threads/your-most-hated-players.436595/

There are other similar posts I have't quoted but you understand what I mean ;)

I will come back in this thread after Brazil-Belgium

If you're going to make a comeback, please do it in time unlike Brazil earlier.

The hate for Neymar and his diving is clouding people's judgement imo. He was better than Cou, Jesus etc for me and the only one who kept at it nonstop and kept driving the team on. Almost scored the super goal and also set up an easy chance for Cou to blaze over. He's had a very good tournament for someone who missed 2-3 months of football with a broken metatarsal and surgery. Some of the Neymar criticism is ridiculously OTT. Yes he's a cheat but he's still been good and definitely better than both Ronaldo and Messi.

I'm Brazilian and I can't stand the little fecker. He's a decent player in the right team but his cheating on the field is shameful.

Man I miss the days of Ronaldo, Romario, Bebeto, Rivaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho, etc. Really makes you realize just how lucky we were having those guy wear the Jersey.

Good riddance to the cuntpuffin. Go and do another shit cameo in an even shittier Vin Diesel flick you self-obsessed, selfie-taking, money-chasing, ramen noodle-haired roly poly wanker.

If he can eliminate his antics and show boating mode, he is one of the best now. Often he took it too long, trying to dribble 2-3 Belgian players.

He is just OK in this WC. And for those who says, he is in the same bracket as Messi and CR7, not he is not and he wont be...he will never be. Even to surpass Ronaldinho and Ronaldo Lima achievement, he will never there.

Overhype by media and social media while in actual his achievement still questionable.

Sometimes a seed never becomes a fruit.

Lucky bastards, at one point you lot had 4 ballons d'Ors on the field at the same time.

I feel the same, all three have been good in bursts, but not the all conquering galacticos they seem in the CL where they have a well oiled machine built around them and their strengths.

It is one of the reasons why I find these GOAT arguments so inane. People often refuse to take context into account, to understand that Messi and Ronaldo have had close to a perfect environment in their current clubs. Neymar was Barca's 3rd attacker for goodness sake, ideally all 3 of them(Suarez included) should have been at different clubs competing against each other.

Yeah I agree with you, I thought he was decent tonight too.
Incredibly unlikeable though.

Yeah, I’m tired of the playacting as well but you do remember Rivaldo vs turkey?

Agree on the last point, the Premier League has been infinitely more exciting since it becam a top 6 rather than a top 2/3.

That applied to a European level with ten teams with a more even share of the greatest players would have been better for fans, club and players than a Barca/Madrid hegemony for the last 10 years.

Rivaldo had one ridiculous incident. Neymar has made it part of his game, more so than anyone I can remember watching.

He may be known as much as a diver than a great player. Internet has been taking the piss out of him this entire WC.

Everything has been said about Neymar.

To cheat is one thing, to overly cheat is another one. The 1st one can be profitable, the 2nd one is counterproductive.

Also, he isn't in the best shape given his injury.

Sad that Messi, Cristiano and Neymar (30 years old in 2022) won't win the World cup!

Fellaini might.

That makes up for all of it.

First of all, he is a piece of shit. How can he look himself in the mirror after the game, and watch those replays without feeling any shame, I will never understand. Also, I don't understand why aren't they booking him for diving?

Btw, I think he raises his acting on another level whenever he is not playing well, he probably wants people to talk about his playacting to forget about his performances.

Anyway, shit tournament, I really don't think he is third best player in the world. I don't know who is, but I would pick Hazard over him in my team easily.

For the last few years, he's been in that bracket. He might not have the numbers Ronaldo does but his influence on a game is up there with Messi imo. Also judging him (or the other 2) on the basis of this WC is stupid.

No, just no.
