Nope, not the linebacker. When the strong safety is getting in the box before the snap and aligning to blitz the quarterback. Like - if you watch Steelers game, a lot of times you can hear the oppo QB call it against Polamalu.
The QB says 50 is mike so that his center, RG, RT, TE, HB change protection to the SS. Or his RB knows which side to run to (away from the SS and to the weakside).
