And getting rid of Bradford and Bridgewater ?

Bradford would be a very good QB to have if his body was trustworthy but he isn't and Zimmer called Bradford's knee degenerative. I would love to have Bridgewater but he hasn't played in two years and I'm afraid that he could be the new Bradford, for cheap I would be willing to re-sign him but a solid back up or a QB1.5 would be needed. It leaves us with Keenum, he is durable and he is serviceable.

Perhaps but it's Cleveland, so...

Surely the Browns will be signing McCarron.

I don't see McCarron is starter calibre. If the Browns want to pull themselves out of the gutter they are going to have to acquire better quality than that (although he would be adequate as a backup).

I don't rate him as a franchise caliber guy but with that current setup he could easily get them to the Super Bowl. Just about any competent QB should be able with the defense and those offensive weapons. The window is probably 2-3 more seasons with this group.

There's no guarantee Jackson will even make in the league as a QB. Here's hoping so because he does appear a dynamic player. A club that drafts him could utilize him in the same way Pittsburgh did with Kordell in his first two seasons.

I have doubts too but I hope that a lot of GMs are like us, the Vikes trade back and take Jackson and an interior lineman in the second.

All this Barkley talk has to be a smokescreen, or sports writers headline hunting. You’d have to be an idiot (well, uh, not y’all...any NFL scout) to not expect him to test out well at the combine.

His draft stock shouldn’t have moved much and, if it did, it was from teams with an incompetent front office.

It's the Browns. There's also the coaching connection which is likely the driving factor for the attempted trade and probable FA talks.

Shaquem Griffin managed 20 reps at 225 pounds despite having to use a prosthetic. Can't wait to see who drafts him, guy's immense. Would love to see the Seahawks reunite him with his brother.

Inspirational man and I have so much respect for him. I cannot wait to see who drafts him.

Von Miller just commented on the NFL's Instagram of Griffin's 40 yard dash saying he hopes he becomes a Bronco.

Von is a bit of a transfer muppet

Seem to be a few players going crazy about his dash. 4:38 is a monstrous time for a linebacker. Think he's moved up a lot of draft boards with his performance.

Kid instantly catapulted himself into 1st round consideration. Fastest LB ever imo

Pete Carroll likes this....

Apparently Shazier managed the same time at his pro day but was injured at the combine. My guess is he'll go on day two, just cos teams will still be nervous about his ability to tackle pros. Don't think they should be, JPP manages just fine.

I love Pete Carroll so much. Same reaction I had when watching as well.

McCoy at the Rams, their turnaround under him was fantastic and he seems to bring out the best in Goff.

Tomlin should have done more with the Steelers the last few years.
Maybe. But if I was playing for Tomlin, I would give my 100% every time. I would do whatever it takes for him.

Whereas with Pete Carroll, he’ll let me be myself, and yet still has the franchise as a whole adopt a winning mentality.

2:48 - Deion Sanders surprised that Apke ran a 4.34 cos he's white.

Jimmy Graham rumored to be heading back to New Orleans.

Wilkerson has his first Free Agency visit scheduled with the Packers. While I don't think we'll sign him, I think he would be a great addition to an already pretty good D-Line. If we get him on a one year deal that would be great business. He would be motivated and playing for a big contract and while we'd get a great player, he wouldn't count against the compensatory pick formula. Also, if we don't get him resigned, we would acutally receive a pretty high pick for him. Basically the same thing the Pats did with Revis. Really hope it happens.

I think the Browns will take Barkley at #1 and get a QB at #4. They will have at least one of Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold, or Allen available there.

I think they should go the other way round.

They could do but its unlikely Barkley will still be available at #4 after his combine performance. The QBs will still be there since the Colts will take Chubb. If the Browns don't take Barkley at 1, he will almost certainly be chosen by the Giants at 2 since they are in the market and Barkley himself is originally from NYC.

Prediction based on absolutely nothing:

Cousins goes to Vikings

Keenum goes to Jets

Broncos trade with Browns for #1 overall and take Rosen, whilst bringing in Bridgewater for experience.

Steelers franchise tag Le'veon for 2nd straight season. Didnt he say, mid season, he would consider retirement if he was franchise tagged again?

Maybe. Hard to say though. I think there will be teams looking to trade into that top 5. I personally think the browns shouldn’t trade down and use 1 and 4, but if the Giants are not going to take a QB, they may well trade out of that spot for a team looking for a QB. In which case Barkley at 4 is very likely.

If I’m the Browns, I just think getting the QB I want is more important than taking whoever is left at 4.

He’s said it more recently too that he won’t sign a franchise tender.

Interesting to see what’ll happen but I don’t think his rhetoric will play out. He will sign it I think.
