The teams all have detailed information about each player, especially as it relates to their personalities and off the field activities, so I doubt they would bother even going to see him unless they have researched where he is in terms of his personal life right now.
You'd think so. But wouldn't that have been the case coming out of college as well being as high profile as he was? If a team is desperate enough, then they might take a flier on him especially considering he's a free agent. Almost certainly any deal will be heavily incentive-laden.

No, because his problems really started after he got rich after making pro money. There was no indication that he would go where he did while he was in college.

Should get picked up by another team quickly

There were definitely indications. Besides, he was already rich to begin with.

Possibly an indication that Fitzpatrick (as several mock drafts have suggested is going to Denver) is off the table.

Wearing a cap celebrating winning 7 rings while watching a pro day in the Dolphins facility. Talk about rubbing it in...

He was probably there scouting Berrios, who ran a 4.4 today.

i cant believe people are going to pick josh allen top ten yet alone number one

He claims Allen's accuracy will improve. Cites Stafford and Favre's college accuracy numbers and improvement in the pros.

Some lucky teams would get the surest things in this draft (Nelson & Fitzpatrick) at close to the tenth pick based on that.

Not that I mind: Elway bringing Mayfield into the fold would be fabulous...

The good news for Denver is that they will almost definitely get one of the four, which I'm sure Elway will be pleased with. And with Keenum coming in for a couple of years, it will give whoever they draft a bit of top cover to not have to deal with instant pressure to deliver results.

Seems bizarre to me as well. Taking him at 1 feels like it would be the most Browns thing to do though so I guess I shouldn't be shocked.

This looks like they're about to start a new sitcom:

Less fun is the Boykin stuff. Was the Seahawks backup QB before stepping down to the practice squad but he's been cut after some horrific domestic abuse allegations.* Hopefully going to go to jail, especially since police have apparently found surveillance footage from his house. Does free up our backup spot, given the Rams offence I hope we get Kaepernick in to backup Wilson.

*Saying allegations just to avoid any legal issues, not cos I'm doubting them.

So apparently Lamar Jackson wont run a 40 on his Pro Day. Didnt do so at the combine either...

In addition, teams are struggling to set up meetings with him. He is represented by his mother.

Whats going on here?

Not sure why he isn't running the 40, but since he's such a known commodity over the past two years I would imagine his skills/ratings are baked in at this point.

So are most of the other star college players but they still put in a 40yd time.

Strange as it should be one of his biggest strengths.

And that's why he doesn't want to run it. In the build up to the Combine, numerous pundits and analyst reduced him to a runner, completely ignoring that iirc he has by far the best QB related stats and he is the only Heisman winner trophy on that lot, iirc he is also the one who threw the most passes.

Mayfield has also won the Heisman but I agree with your point. Jackson was also quite mad/disappointed people wanted him to consider converting to WR.

I forgot about Mayfield.:)

Those scores must be made up for professions - what engineers they testing who can't score at least 30? Jesus.

Its just one of many metrics used to evaluate players. Highest among prominent current NFL players is Wentz (40) and lowest is Frank Gore (6). The latter obviously still running his way to Canton.

Joe Flacco at 27 AND better than Big Ben? Even with one leg, I would have Big Ben over the dross that is Flacco.

And Gore is a smart player, he reads defenses well which allowed him to be a solid blocker and consistent runner.

Yeah I know - just surprised by the profession scores is all.

Proportionally, they should satiate the gay population in the crows.

All part of the master plan for Jackson. Dont show how fast you are but flop an IQ test.
