What do you all think of the expanded helmet (targeting) rule?

I think it’s going to cause a lot of problems (penalties) with the O & D-lines. Will be interesting how players adjust to the change & just how often refs call a penalty.

Apparently we just traded Dez Bryant to giants for Odell Beckham...im praying this is true ...

And its an April fool i hate this day

youve been had. any package for odell starts with at least a first round pick

Yeah was an april fools story caught on when i saw odell traded to the browns as well:lol: too good to be true we could get rid of Dez

Increasing talk that the Browns are taking Allen at #1

Could see them regretting it from what I've heard. But I've hardly seen any of these qb's aside from Rosen, so don't know shit.

Can’t fecking believe this...

Rams keep adding talent.

Massive risk for NE - banking on Gronk to stay healthy the entire season & Edelman to come back healthy. Mitchell also coming off a lost season to injury.

Unless we use those 2 first round picks for OBJ

I liked Cooks, was a shame he got knocked out in the SB but he had a good season. We need to replace him with someone who has that speed/deep threat.

Bill playing chess. Got a year of production out of Cooks and upgraded our 1st round pick (got 23rd now when we traded 32nd to get Cooks in the first place).

I liked Cookie. He’s such a great person and more people like him can be used around the league. However, I will say as I have from day 1 that he’s more a phenomenal athlete than he is a WR. Not to take anything away from him but I’ve always seen it like that. Reminds me so much of a prime Percy Harvin.

...no doubt the Rams are NFC favs. Have added Suh, Peters, Talib, and now Cooks. Wonder if the Pats dangle those picks to the Giants to try and get OBJ? Him and Brady have been interacting on social media hinting at a possibility + OBJ has the same cap hit as Cooks did last year.

Or he waits for the inevitable - Dallas cuts Dez.

Browns better get Darnold now
Not a bad choice, since he is a bit of a project that can be worked on while beginning to instill a winning mentality under the capable Taylor with the talent on hand.

I don’t have faith that they could actually pull that off given recent history though.

Looking like the Broncos are desperate for Rosen, he's been for a team visit which in itself doesn't mean much but he was also hosted for dinner with team officials and had a one on one meeting with Joe Ellis which no other draft prospect has had so far.

Still wouldn't be surprised to see them trade up.

Kaeparnick's Seahawks tryout has been postponed. Is he good enough to be a starting QB at a franchise? He could try for Canadian football. Guess the money in the NFL matters a lot.

He hasn't played in a while so its unclear how good he is at this stage. That said, I have a hard time believing he wouldn't be good enough to be an NFL backup and probably a starter for certain teams.

I heard the Seahawks pulled out after asking him whether or not he planned to kneel if he signs.

It would be hard for them to trade up since the Jets have already traded up to #3. So that would mean the Broncos would have to give up a lot to get to number 2 or 1 and it would assume the Browns or Giants aren't going to take Rosen. If I'm Elway, I would hold steady at #5 since he would be guaranteed one of the 4 QBs with probably Mayfield or Rosen still available.

I read the same thing... Didn't he make a claim of collusion against owners that he's being blacklisted for non-football reasons? Surely if this is true, it proves he's right.

As Raoul said, how though? All 3 need QBs.

Not sure if he's being blacklisted or whether individual owners just don't want to deal with the drama of fans protesting more kneeling situations next year, which could affect the brand/sponsors and distract from the football.

Fair point.

Read summat yesterday that Giants are only interested in Darnold at QB, so might trade back and take Nelson if they don't get him.
