If Brady doesnt play next year it seems like it was an even more of a stupid decision to trade Jimmy G.
 
People seriously believe that there is a chance that Brady doesn't play ? He will obviously play

That's not as simple. Jimmy G was a free agent this off season, the Patriots weren't in a position to keep him just in case, they don't have the cap space for that. The problem for them was that in order to keep Jimmy G they needed to see Brady leave through a trade, since he has a 14m dead money and retirement still counts against the cap.

Where’s the best place to get tickets for games? I’m on TicketMaster looking at Pats tickets - can pick up tickets vs Jets on the 25/11 for fairly cheap but like the game vs Chicago on 21/10 is hella expensive. Tips please.
 
Has anyone watched the All or Nothing with the Cowboys yet? Based abroad this month so not available on amazon prime here which is frustrating! If so is it any good?

Seahawks are not going to make it. Lost for different reasons; Sherman, Bennett, Avril, Chancellor, Shead, Willson, Graham, Rawls, P. Richardson, Kearse, S. Richardson and their first pick from last year. Obviously some weren't that good to begin with, but all of them were still a part of a successful team in previous seasons and contributed one way or another. They don't have a second and third round pick this year either, so rebuilding is going to be difficult. (Which is why they are IMO forced to trade Earl Thomas)

If I had to guess, it's going to be a NFC team again. Saints, Rams, Eagles, Vikings or Packers and in the AFC I only see the Patriots and Steelers. Texans could be good, if they have more luck in terms of injuries. Jaguars need a different QB to go all the way. If I had to bet, I'd probably go with the Saints, assuming they draft as well as they did last year. Bit early for predictions without considering the draft.
 
It's rare that all the same teams challenge two years in a row you have to think there will be at least one team come through that struggled last season .

This time last season the giants were fancied to win their division and the eagles not so much
 
As a lifelong Seahawks fan it pains me to say this, but we're going to be mediocre this year. We lost a lot of pieces from our D, and may still lose Thomas. We don't have a lot of draft capital, and are picking in a middling spot in Round 1. The only way we do better than 8 or 9 wins is if Wilson responds to the new OC like we hope he will and improves on his glaring weaknesses, and if we can get him even an iota more protection than he had last year. I could see the Rams making a deep playoff run this year with the moves they've made in the offseason.

I thought the main issue was lack of protection for him.

Lack of protection really has stunted his growth as a QB, and it hurts us more than anything else on offense. However, Russ still has less than elite vision of the field and footwork in the pocket. Too often he hop steps as he moves around, as opposed to sliding his feet which would allow him to plant and throw with accuracy (so many of his missed throws under pressure stem from poor footwork). He also has a tendency to feel the pressure and fail to read the D, which results in receivers breaking through zones or beating their man and not getting hit with the football.

I love him and still think he's a franchise QB who can get us, minimum, 7-8 wins a season, but if we are to fight through the next couple of "rebooting" years and we're not going to drastically improve on our OL, he's going to have to put in a lot of work individually to improve his fundamentals and get back on track.

Russ is magic though. I still think that with Russ & the culture, you’ll keep a winning record.

I certainly hope so. Russ definitely has magic in his cleats, and his level right now is good enough to get us to .500 all by himself. I just worry that we've had so much turnover there'll be some real growing pains as we figure out what our team identity is.

Yeah, you don't. Last year, he had no help in terms of running game and his o-line was terrible again, despite that and a few poor games, he was still one of the best QBs in the NFL. Season before that, he was injured and still played well once he somewhat overcame those injuries.

Yep, Wilson threw for 34 TD and 11 INT. Graham had 10 TD, Baldwin 8 with almost 1000 yards and Richardson had 6. Not sure what you mean with WR2 though, Baldwin is one of the best receivers in the league, would have a lot more yards, if he was playing for another team. Wilson also 3 rushing TD (586 yards), while the rest of the team had 1. The best RB had 240 yards.

Honestly I’ve never seen Baldwin as a WR1 type guy - he is very good though. And Richardson probably wouldn’t be a starter on any other top team.

Don't get me wrong. He's a good QB, just nothing spectacular. He in last 2 seasons at least falls short of 'elite' in my books. Still a top 7 QB across the board.

gronkI met with coach today and informed him I will be back for the 2018 season with the Pats. I have been working out, staying in shape and feel great. Looking forward to another championship run.

You can't be serious with Foles. If Wilson was playing instead of Foles, the Eagles would have won more convincingly.

Wentz needs to repeat the season he's had to be in the same ballpark as Wilson.

He literally did last year. Fairly sure that Rodgers would probably be the only QB in the league, who could have done something similar behind that terrible line in previous seasons. He's at his best with his back against the wall.
