It's gonna be wild times watching the receiver-less Cowboys and a QB that can't seemingly throw with accuracy more than 15 yards downfield and a patchwork offensive line.

The Rams offence has to step up second half. They didn't get going in the first.

Yet Zeke still got only 16 touches. Jason Garrett sucks.

Great game for the Jets. Despite Darnold’s ridiculous first pass, he looked pretty good after that. Compared to all the young QBs playing, you can really see that he gets through reads and progressions very well.

Patricia is going to get found out big time i reckon

First game, and he can’t be responsible for Stafford making some bone head decisions. Their defence actually played decent. But their offence was diabolical. Not to mention their special teams.

Think he will improve but is going to struggle I think this year.

I find it hard to trust a man whose defence got ripped apart by fecking nick foles in the Superbowl

Vikings @ Packers and Pats @ Jags next week

Jets players said they were calling the plays as they unfolded. They rightly called the INT which led to the pick 6.

Which is as bad as it can get for a HC...get out-coached on play calling. Can't really blame Stafford if Jets can't predict the way it's being called.

It‘s not like Stafford is Brock Osweiler or something, he is certainly one of the better QBs in the league. That monumental feckup has to be on Patricia.

Is he, though? He’s now in the league for years and hasn’t really done anything of notice, except for putting up great numbers against bad teams. He’s average.

I think it’s just tough to judge on one game. Especially where the Lions were chasing it and there was no balance to their offence.

It could well turn out that Patricia is over his head but I won’t make that judgement after one game, nor would I for any other HC or player or unit.

Are we to say the Saints defence will be the worst in the league this year?

That Fitzpatrick will be the MVP because he will throw darts all year?

That the Steelers will tie every game?

Anyway you get the point.

He is much better than the QBs who I would call average. Bortles, Dalton, Tannehill, Keenum, Taylor, Bradford, Flacco, Eli, etc etc. Many franchises would love to have Stafford starting every week. There are also a big number of franchises with young-ish QBs who would be delighted if their prospects turn out like Stafford.

Patricia is not alone though. All the other new head coaches lost too. New coaches had a 0-7 week, the worst in NFL history!

Why on earth would anyone at the Pats want Dez ? He will be very lucky to get a struggling team take a punt on him later on

Not saying the Pats do (though I think he is still a hell of a lot better than a lot of wide receivers in the league).

I say he's crying because he is absolutely gagging for a bit of New England

Yeah he clearly wants the Pats but no way would Brady and Belichick put up with Dez throwing tantrums if he doesn't get the ball .

Also he is nowhere near what he was a few years ago he has faded badly as a receiver

I say sign Dez to a one year contract. Bench him or eventually cut him if he keeps throwing tantrums.

Yeah, I don’t see the downside risk.

If he’s willing to accept a pay as you go / prove it / no guarantees one year deal, then take him. If not, then don’t.

Then if he starts being detrimental, just tell him to pack his bags and send him on his way.

You might gain something, and as long as you’re willing to cut him the moment he starts acting up, you aren’t really at risk of losing anything other than a roster spot for the guy you cut.

Agreed. If he performs, keep him. If he doesn’t or is a dick then cut him. Bill’s never had issues bringing in difficult players & trying to fit them into the Pats methodology.

Would actually like to see how defenses would guard him & Gronk in the RedZone.

This is exactly why I would love to see him in a Pats uniform. He would transform our offense from somewhat mediocre, to an incredibly versatile offense. Hogan and Edelman as slot receivers, Gronk and Dez for the long game. How do you defend that, really?

Josh Allen to start this weekend. I guess he'll get murdered but at least it won't be by Bosa.

Nathan Peterman might be the worst QB I’ve ever seen. Whoever made the decision to play him last season then start the season with him should be sacked.

Hope Allen does well but I fear they’re hanging him out to dry.

Hillarious how the Skins are an acceptable afterthought for him. I'm sure their fans will love that if he goes there.

Aren't you a Washington fan/follower?

I wouldn't mind him in Minnesota, as a move the chain type of receiver.

I don't have a team. I do have family members in Denver and Phoenix so I wind up loosely following the activities of the Broncos and Cardinals a bit more than the other teams.

Did you ever see Craig Whelihan play? Babe Laufenberg as well.

Nope... only started watching/following NFL in 2007 & I’m not familiar with either. I’m guessing you think they’re worse?

Bills up against some hard defences next two weeks, baptism by fire!
Bills are going to struggle big time! Have a bet on them to be 0-4, which was almost 2/1! The Chargers game this Sunday is their best chance for a win I think
