Norwich City vs. Manchester United

Why do we always have to sit back after scoring, go for the second to finish the game off ffs. Norwich are awful.

feck sake, this game is going to have the same sort of last 5/10 mins the Hull game had

Just heard a shout from the United end towards Ashley Young:
"keep it up Young MOTM in the bag"

Not sure if sarcasm?

Evans is obviously a very good defender it's hard to argue against that. However I'm starting to wonder if he makes a good partnership with Smalling. He and our defence as a whole looks so much better when he plays with Vidic.

Not looking forward to the next 10-15 minutes or so...:nervous:

Both partnerships are excellent and have generally conceded few goals.

I've got this weird feeling just about every duo we've used at the back had a good game, which made people declare 'this is out best!'.

Why are we contented to try hang on to the 0-1? It's come back and bitten us on the arse so many times already this season! Go for the fecking second, United!

Maybe we're tired too? Half of this team played a tough game 48 hours ago.
We're a much fitter team then norwich who had most of their team play 48 hours ago, when they lost 2-1 at home to Fulham.
It's not just this game. Almost every game we're leading in we settle for the 1 goal lead and it's cost us quite a few times this season.

Also Carrow Road has always been a tough ground for us in the last 3 years. If I recall correctly, we've only picked up 1 point from 9.

One of those defeats there was in 2005. We had tough couple of matches there. Doesn't mean every one has to be. Mind you, with the way we close out games, hold on tight...

Our ball retention must be one of the worst amongst the "top" sides in Europe.

To be fair, new manager and a raft of injuries. Ball retention is greatly helped by consistency and fluidity. Hard to have when the side is chopped and changed due to injury every single game. So whilst I agree we are largely crap at keeping the ball, I do predict brighter things in the future.

Right now, 3 points will suffice. Especially so given the debacles against Everton, WBA and Newcastle.

Sums us up. Nice break on could keep pushing towards the box and try and get a second instead we hold it up and try and break them down slowly

fecking hell his crossing..

But Young has been decent today, my MOTM overall.

What is my agenda? I don't claim to hate players because other posters happen to quite like them. There's no need to constantly go on like you do about Kagawa, it's hard to take you seriously.

Your agenda is to constantly defend his mediocre or invisible games calling them tidy for example. I was excited about Adnan coming today because I think he is one of the best young prospects we've had in years and I'm always excited to see him play.
