Norwich v Man United - Sat 9th April

We need to play more "the arsenal way". Through the middle with short passes

Wayne's warming up :) A little Rooney magic needed

We shouldn't need Rooney to beat the worst club in the premiership

Fergie's furious
Not surprised. The lads on the field are really going to get in back in the dressing room at half time

why do i have a feeling ronaldo's now just gonna start cranking shots from outside the box every chance he gets>

We gotta face it lads - this side (overall in the squad) is one of the worst of Fergie's tenure at OT.

Too many makewieghts, mediocre players, injuries, (Saha is joke, and RVN season has been a disaster including the suspension), nervous performances at home.

It will be a miracle if this lot win anything.

Rooney has been a success, Rio good, Heinze OK, Giggs Ok, Ronaldo good but too many iffy games but he'll get better, Sholes - off the boil, Keane - needs replacing fast, Smith not getting enough games, Kleberson will be sold.

We are in need a confident steady 'keeper. Winning the FA Cup (I doubt it anyway) will not be enough for the club.

Watch for a replacement for SAF being lined up during the close season.

Half-time. Dissapointing, but still time to improve. Fergie really needs to give some of them a wake-up call

Phil Neville is a disgrace of a midfield player

No ones told Heinze who's team he's on

HT: 0-0 Quality match ay? The only light at the end of the tunnel is a good performance from Kleberson. But i bet he will get subbed off at HT for Ruud or Rooney :( its time for SAF to bite the bullet and sub off Scholes, Fortune or Smith

The only thing worth mentioning from the first half is Kleberson. He is half-way through a good comeback match.

Oh, enough with the wake up calls. It's not about the 11 being on the pitch not trying enough. It's about not being all that good.

Scholes is pinging it around but with little effect. Ronaldo's dangerous but he's just one player. Kleberson, similar to Scholes. Fortune, plenty of heart but he's hardly a great footballer, and Phil cannot do anything more than defensive work in midfield.

I don't know what people have got with Smith. He's a good player, he's got a place in our squad, but he's nothing more than an above average player. Not bad, but nothing special at all. Some people treat his attitude as if it is the most important thing but 11 Alan Smith's on the field (and we have a few today!) will limit the team.

Saha was a panic buy - unproven really. Smith looked ok at first but he needs a good run out. Is Ole gonna come back next season??

We need leadership on the pitch. I reckon that they have given up on the Championship expecting third place and just hope we can win the cup.

Haven't seen Heinze play this bad since he got here ... what's wrong with him? Think Phil will be sacrificed for Rooney ... Smudger and Pudger up front. Kleb has had a good match. Glad Djemba or Miller isn't there to overshadow his performance with their shitty play.

Kleberson and Ronaldo are really been the only ones who really have tried to create something. Scholesy is absolutely invicible. I hope Fergie brings on Ruud or Rooney for Fortune or Phil and go with two upfront.

Smith and Fortune have been abject in the first half IMO.

Was Van Nistelrooy proven? Both he and Saha scored goals at whatever level they played. Besides, If Saha was a panic buy, what was Cantona? A player signed because the Leeds chairman happened to call on a certain day.

Saha was not a panic buy. We needed a striker, he fully fit the bil. Ofcource, saying fully fit now is a joke

But seriously, not being fit is his only problem. That doesn't really make it a panic buy, does it? It's hardly as if we ended up with a 13m pound Bellion.

We needed a striker. Fergie fecked around trying to find a striker that wasn't cup tied so he could play in the 2 games vs Porto, which backfired because Saha done feck all in either of those games.
How often do we buy players in january? Not very often.
Saha was having a great season, so we rushed in and spent a ridiculous amount of money on him. I was shocked when I heard we'd spent so much on him.
