Norwich v Man United - Sat 9th April

so,ebody please get heinze out of his misery......i think hes a class player, but come on he needs a rest!!!

Good substitution. Fortune was dreadful - didn't provide any width, didn't provide any energy in midfield, didn't allow Scholes to get forward - might as well not have been there. Think we'll win now (though we might need to bring Ruud on for Smith to do it).

Weird. He's playing much as he usually does - defending quite well, showing plenty of energy, totally useless going forward. Why is this game different to any other?

Our defence looks a bit drunk...

We needed a striker. Fergie fecked around trying to find a striker that wasn't cup tied so he could play in the 2 games vs Porto, which backfired because Saha done feck all in either of those games.
How often do we buy players in january? Not very often.
Saha was having a great season, so we rushed in and spent a ridiculous amount of money on him. I was shocked when I heard we'd spent so much on him.

I'm not arguing with the facts. I just think that a fully fit Saha would have justified the price tag. Some people thought we overpayed for Yorke at first too. Just because the deal isn't working because of his injuries doesn't mean he was a panic buy. I don't think he was at all unlike, say, Taibi and Silvestre in 1999.

That why Fergie didn't sign a goalie in january and is waiting for the summer

That's fair enough. But i'd say Yorke's record was much better than Saha's before he moved to us.

I'm probably mistaken, but I can't remember Saha having many other good seasons other than the last.

Saha is a class player when his fit and that's a fact. If you don't see that then you don't know shit about football.

He's good, not class.

I'm not arguing that. But at what we paid he was a panic buy.

He's a world class injury specialist, if you look at his minutes to injury ratio it's probably the best in the world.

someone please tell me why we suck at defending set peices....our defense acts like feckin faries when facing a set peice

We really need to show our spirit now and turn this around

Shut up. Our squad is basically fine. It's a form thing
No its not, we havent got enough wingers, Ron and Giggs and Ole so weve been one short before the season even started, otherwise its fine.

Norwich haven't kept a clean sheet since October or something. I reckon they'll end that run today.

I remember fergie say this is the best team he has had since he took over

Bollocks it's the worse they got no passion bunch of feckin fairies

and what about ole for the past 2 years?
That is Ole's first long term injury since we signed him, ole is not a good example.
Ole has played plenty of full games for us.

norwich will just put 9/10 behind the ball knowing that in our present form and the players we have out there, we'll have a horrid time trying to break it down.

Somebody needs to give Ronaldo some fecking shooting practice.
