There will no longer be sports dynasties.I think Ole will win everyone over, and go on to a long dynasty at United. He lives and breathes United - he's a fan at heart, he knows the club history, the pride, the people, and the United way.
He's also had time to learn, fail and succeed as as a manager now - as he said, he's got 3-400 matches under his managerial belt now. And don't forget he's beaten the likes of Sevilla, Zenit, Celtic and Fenerbahce - and they even won their Europa League group in 2015-16 against Ajax, Celtic and Fenerbahce. This year they beat Zenit St.Petersburg at home, which are now through to the elimination stages of the CL.
But perhaps most important is his positive mindset. He wants to win, and win by attacking - he does it with a smile and can-do attitude, and he gives youth a real chance! He's also tougher than many realize. How many players have stood up to Sir Alex and won?
He also chose to stay at United and fight for his right to play for the club he loved. And finally - he had the balls to take on this job now, and he goes at it like a challenge, but one he thoroughly enjoys! He's 20LEGEND - a Manchester United great already, and only just getting started!

I've been saying for near on two full years to my wife that it's not really the results that bring me down. It's the dire lack of any positivity regarding anything that has to do with our club.
Sunny's got me fired about up about being a United fan again, and watching this interview has me smiling from ear to ear at the prospect of what's to come for the first time in a long, long time! I just cannot see a way his positivity and him saying all the right things don't affect what the players do on the pitch in a good way.
Bring on the Cardiff, and the rest of the league. Bring on PSG, and the rest of the world! We might not take the lot, but I have a feeling that we'll make a damn good fight of it!

He's genuinely one of the good guys. No ulterior motive, just loves the club.
I am hoping that he failed at Cardiff because he didnt have the personnel to implement his attacking philosophy, and now he could at United. Of course, it wont be that easy but it would still be more pleasant than seeing a defensive tactic, at OT, against other than the big teams implemented by Jose.
Bellamy said the same. Said he didn't have the players he needed to play the way he wanted, and his signings were too poor to help in that regard. Eventually he tried to change it up, but it was too late by then.
Ole is known by all as one of the nicest and likeable guys in the game. Really hope it works out for him.

Love his interview.Yup, that's the United we grew up with.
Focus on our football, don't care too much about the opposing team, express our own special version of football, believe in the players, positive football.
His presence is already huge, looking forward to the next game.
Exactly the same here.
We are not going to win every single game, no club is going to do that. As long as they put in 110% effort for the shirt and play good attacking football then that is fine with me.
I said it earlier in this thread that if no Man Utd player can be inspired and really determined to make it here after hearing Ole’s interview, then they should be nowhere this great club
I think the young boys like Greenwood will get their chances. I saw the Chelsea highlights and I saw he was very good. Unless you play in the first team then you will never know how good they are. So I am hoping Ole will give them chances.
I wonder how he is going to set up against Cardiff? It is not going to be easy for him to change the style after 3 years. It is going to take more than a few games for us to attack like he wanted and to get the ball up front as quickly as we can.

Was pleasantly surprised by how confident, self-assured and charismatic he came across! All the characteristics of a United player and manager! I'm on-board 100% and hope the players buy into his love and enthusiasm for the club! This, ultimately, is where Mourinho failed!

I love him so much and he deserves full backing. Whatever the results he is coming midseason to a squad that has enormous pressure on them and has been coached to play the direct opposite way he wants to play. He has said all the right things. He wants us to play our own game and not focus on controlling the opposition. It will take time to implement. For one fitness levels have to increase, he has to learn about the players and he has to develop players. Our players are used to backpassing and lumping it up to Lukaku. He clearly wants this to stop. The best part is fans will never turn on a legend. The players have nowhere to hide. Go out and perform or leave the club.

Really am shocked that the club has done this, whether it''s with the right intentions, or just to stem the mutiny from the player and fans, I'm not sure, but in Ole we now have a chance of enjoying things again, so I'm in, and if any players step out of line now then they can take a running jump.

Look at it this way. No big time manager like Poch is going to come now. So Ole is available as the Norwegian league has ended and starts in April. He has had managerial experience in Norway and his team has even topped the group in Europa that has teams like Ajax and Celtic. He has had 6 months experience in Cardiff that ended up in relegation. He has the DNA of United. So nothing to lose to anyone. It is a win win situation for all. He is not in this for the money as I am sure and he will give all he has for the club. It is as he says, he is home now.
His teams play attacking football and he thinks big and it is not about him or any other club he managed in the past. For him it is all United or nothing. It is time we have someone like that at United after all the decline we have been having with people as managers who only think of themselves and not the club.

I'm actually not worried about the game this weekend. Th post Mou new manager bump will probably see us through just as it did for Giggs when we won 4-0.
