Is Ole a good appointment?

Hello Fellani, you're playing up front today.
Remember people defending Mourinho's refusal to bring Chong on against Juve despite not making any substitutes lined up.
For all LVG's faults, he would have had the courage to play him.

Got to thank LVG for these two. Even if Rashford's opportunity wasn't planned at all!

Thank you LVG for being forced out of the club before you managed to ruin them with your horrific zombieball.

I want to imagine how Ole can get angry with players or can he give them that hairdryer when needed? Because he always seem a real nice guy.

No we don't. He was a failure. Lucked out with both of those. feck Moyes, feck LVG and feck Mourinho, they're has beens who were too far up their own arses to understand what this club is about.

In Moyes' case: A never been.

On a sidenote, it's kind of ridiculous the number of interviews and pressers pre-match and post-match that the manager has to give, and then talking the same thing over and over again to different people. Little wonder some managers hate it but had no choice

It was great to see the coaching staff celebrating the goal against Spurs - so refreshing after the dour gesturing of the previous regime. I get the impression that Ole has not just rejuvenated the team on the pitch, but has created a good unit off it as well.

Yes this was a highlight for me too. I had serious doubts about Solskjaer when he was appointed as caretaker and until we played quality opponents I wasn't convinced. Yesterday had me starting to believe though will wait till the end of the season before making my final judgement. If he gets 4th place then it's only fair he should be considered.

Quality control
When will he stop being another Shakespeare in your eyes? After another 6 wins or after winning a cup double?
If he continues present form to the end of the season and records some big wins against top opposition. Tottenham haven't had a midweek break since November and we still lost yesterday asides from De Gea.

I know, right? Thank feck we're allowed to play with a goalkeeper now that Ole's in charge!

We could have been ahead by 2 or 3 goals before half-time. Had our attackers been more clinical in the final third we would have been.

Yeah, people keep saying how Spurs could have scored lots of goals etc, but United could have easily scored 4 or 5 if clinical enough.

WOW!

Before Spurs even had a shot on target we should have been a few up (Pogba x2, lingard should have squared to Martial) so your narrative is slightly flawed.

Plus, we are allowed to play a goalkeeper you know!

Ole has done a great job flipping the negative culture and style of the team to a positive, attacking one - Watching the last 6 games there seems a common issue with fitness

in almost all games we've seen a player or two like Herrera yesterday suffering cramp

the team have lost intensity the last 20 mins of games and it's something we need to focus on improving

Mourinho's tactics meant we ran far less than other teams in the league - players were more static in terms of positioning, sprinting and ground covered

now we are running more, playing with intensity, players supporting each other, making themselves available and it's starting to show in terms of tiredness

this will be Solskjaer's next challenge and it makes you wonder how poor Mourinho could be at his job that our players struggle so much to perform at a high level for 90 mins or more

when we resume the CL and if we end up in an extra time situation it will be crucial to address this

Early contender for worst post of the year right here...

Delusion.

The sheer arrogance of this:

I could have gone in and done the same thing, so could Steve Bruce. "Anyone could have gone in and done what he has done, it wasn't a hard thing to do to give those players freedom and improve the mood."

If he had actually watched our games, he would know that some tactics were involved and it's not all just "ok lads, smile and attack, attack, attack".

Ole is no rookie, he's done some good work with Molde. Ince would be as effective as Gary Neville was at Valencia.

Strong words from master tactician Paul Ince.

For me, the whole manager scenario is very simple... If pochettinho becomes available then we take him. If ole continues to do a good job this year, then outside of Poch then it's gotta be something fecking special to take that place. The talk of Gareth Southgate is frightening and hilarious, although who knows with our board.. . Do you really think the fans would accept him like ole? That would be the most depressing appointment that I could actually see happening.

Zidane ...only if ole flops.
Simeone .. Only if ole flops
Rose .. Only if old flops.

Basically, ole can do as well as you like and I'd probably take poch. But if he isn't gonna be available and ole keeps performing like he is, then I wouldnt want to swap him for anyone else that's available.

This should be OGS job if Poch doesn't want it.
