There is going to be a bomb at old Trafford at the last game of the season
Thank me later dont say I didn't tell you.

Just catching up on events now, been away for the weekend, just managed to make it to the car at 3pm to listen to the match on the drive home and heard about the delay and then cancellation, scary shit.

So it looks like a 'hoax' then? Wankers, hope they find the cnuts.

The Facebook idiot and the actual "bomb" that was discovered are two seperate things, right? Do we know if the device was real or not yet?

Insurance will cover a big chunk of it I reckon.
We have no idea what is / isn't covered, however if you look at the fine print in insurance policies stuff like 'damage due to war' etc isn't covered. But then I'm no expert and is terrorism classed as war.

Luckily for us, whatever it was wasn't able to go off so the financial damage would be minimal. Imagine if that phone had been tapped to a gas pipe and what damage that would have caused.

I know this is a minor issue but I'm intrigued, are they basically blowing up the toilets in this controlled explosion? Sounds like it'll make a mess.

People do know that the person who spotted the fake bomb, is the chief suspect? :) It's like they say no? Whoever smelt it dealt it. Would be interesting to know how the person came to seeing it and where it was exactly. Cause if it's a fake bomb, it weren't meant to go bang. From the outside looking in, just giving people a good reason to touch people up in the summers Euros. Dirty old men like it like that.

Sky have said the earliest would be Wednesday, but highly unlikely given the final on Saturday
A lot of people have been posting the rules about abandoned games earlier in this thread saying that they should be played within 48 hours after the original fixture. Tuesday would make a lot of sense.

How much will United lose in money if this is played with no people watching?

gotta be a million pounds or so.

but all the tickets are sold, so as long as the game is replayed, they probably won't allow refunds, certainly not to the 55,000 season ticket holders.

Am hoping for either Tuesday, or the week after, as the woman I sold my tickets to has a personal family ceremony on Wed, and I really can't be assed with a huge rush stress sorting of tickets out.
