Our weak attack

I am going to rate them out of 10 in relation to their quality for United. 6 is about squad player.

Martial is not a left winger. We will never have a cohesive attack with him there. He is not good at crossing, his dribbling is not that effective. His best asset is his finishing and he rarely ever uses it. The guy is a striker. If he is not going to be tried there, we might as well sell him. He has no chance of succeeding as a left winger. As a left winger 5/10

Lingard is a nothing player. 0/10

Rashford is massively inconsistent and has become way too selfish. His decision making is poor and, at the moment, his final product is poor. Not good enough to rely on. 6/10

Lukaku is the best of our attackers. The only one who has managed double figures before this season. 20 goal a season striker. 6.5/10.

We have squad player quality playing in our first team (and some even worse than that). We need our entire front line rebuilt, almost. LW and RW are required.

Martial isn't even playing like a pure winger. Striker needs to run behind defenses which he doesn't do.
Actually Lukaku who's is most hated is our best attacker.
 
We don't have strong anything, attack midfield and defense are all shambles
 
We need a proven clinical striker, we cannot persist with Rashford and Lukaku upfront throughout a season they lack conviction when it matters. Not one clutch player upfront, Zlatan slowed the play down but atleast he had genuine quality.

Probably the last time we had an attack that even looked good enough on paper was the first season under Van Goal (and we all know what the reality turned out like).

It's quite possible we'll go through this entire decade only having had 3 world class attackers: Rooney, Ibra, and the five matches where Di Maria could be arsed. The last great United side in 2008 had that many alone.

Yes, we've been 'unlucky' with how players have performed when we did try and sign quality, but it's 10 years of neglect, incompetence, and failure and our best attacker despite all the money we have spent? An academy kid who would probably never have got his chance if not for injury.

I rather we sign three or four attackers and one right back. Then look for a CB next year. Our attack has been garbage for years.
 
It's fecking woeful. I think we should be focusing on our attack a lot more.

I wouldn't mind being defensively mediocre for a season if we were banging goals in left right and centre. Sort of like how Liverpool were last season.
 
It's amazing how instances in our attack where we have half chances that we just oversee, but that touch Rashford had would have been dead by any of the front three of Barcelona! That final third pass by a Barca player is always sharp too.

Have been saying this for ages. We win games by attacking, not by defending.

It’s a sucess receipe for decades under SAF to have absolute world class attack (not just striker).
 
Yes I just said in the match thread we need to prioritise 2 goalscorers before anything else. I would even sell the golden trio Rashford Lingard and Martial along with Lukakuif we could get 2 proven goalscorers first. Greenwood could be our new Rashford.
 
Give Herrera a new contract, then spunk the entire budget on Mbappe
 
I'm done with them all. At most I'd keep ONE, just to see if they become something. One of Martial or Rashford as a back up player to see if they become something.....

id knock a point off them scores. Lukaku wont get 20 premier goals a season for us as long as hes got an hole up his arse
