PARK-A true unsung hero

Park plays a very big part in our attacking build-up whenever he plays, he always has.

It's just a bit frustrating some people think the only thing he's good for is closing down the opposition, essentially.

I don't think if I've ever seen him work even harder in the 2nd half after his terrible first one.I mean even if his 2nd half wasn't the best he worked even harder than the first and he never gave up.
It shows his mental strength, hopefully it inspires the more technically gifted and younger players

It helps if you're not shit and your teammates know this and hence keep involving you in the play.

Carrick can't pass, Rooney can't finish, Berba can't run, Neville is ancient, Rio's spine is beyond repair, Vidic is a wuss, Nani is hopeless, Fletch just runs, Valencia needs a prosthesis, Park is a defensive winger, Rafael is always caught out, and I am out of breath.

I just wish he'd wear boots with longer studs.

The Manchester United boss is quoted by the Daily Telegraph: “"I didn't think that (Park was bought just to sell shirts).”

"When I went to see him play in those Champions League semi-finals for PSV Eindhoven in 2005 I thought this is a player who understands football.”

"He is intelligent and disciplined and he can play different positions. I had no issues about that at all.”

"Someone is always going to take a runner on something like selling shirts. But you could say that about every player we have signed."

No you couldn't. I mean, who the feck would rush to buy a shirt with David Bellion or Liam Miller's name on it?

Oh wait, for Liam Miller, I guess you could!

Reminds me of the Legend of the Monkey God.

By blowing a breath of air on his hair, he will be able to clone any number, of himself. With the same power, strength, ability, agility, cunning and gile of the original.

Might be good to have a whole team of Rooneys, or O'Sheas ??

Wonder what the picture would look like.

A newverse perhaps?

As a young player, the South Korean, who scored the winner against Liverpool on Sunday to send Manchester United top of the league, was told by his parents that the nutrients in the juice would help him grow.
"They said it was good for my health to become stronger and I ate anything that would improve my health," he told The Sun.

Manchester United move to secure Ji-sung Park's long-term future
Having scored in front of the Stretford end at Old Trafford at the weekend, and with Chelsea being held to a 1-1 draw against Blackburn, Park believes the title is now United's to lose.
Two points clear of Arsene Wenger's Arsenal and four clear of Chelsea - though the West Londoners have a game in hand - Park is confident that united can secure a record fourth consecutive title.
"We don't need to worry about Arsenal or Chelsea because if we win our games then we will be champions," he said. "There are seven league games left and if we win them all we will win the title.
"It was important we beat Liverpool - it's a big boost for the rest of the season. We need to concentrate and keep up our performance levels."
Park's efforts during his time at United have been hailed by Rio Ferdinand who believes the 29-year-old is not always awarded the credit he deserves.
"Ji has been phenomenal recently," Ferdinand said. "He's a player who's probably appreciated a bit more by his team mates than some of the pundits and media.
"Now however I think people are starting to see what a talented player he is."

That sort of 'one face on many people' was all the rage in Asia a few years back. They've done it with schoolrooms full of kids, sports teams, political rallies, etc. Some of them are indeed very creepy.

The big improvement in his game has come about due to his first touch and control becoming much stronger, he isn't battling to keep the ball away from the opposition because it's bounced off him when he received it, he's become a neater player

His close control while dribbling's always been amongst the best at the club. Feck knows why people think he had a poor first touch in the first place as well.

The Team Park shot is one of the funniest pics I've seen on this forum.
