Really an odd club, they're so fast to give guys like Phil Jones, Matic and Bailly contracts but they waited for Pogba. Nonetheless, okay with him leaving granted we sign a midfielder.
He's got as much of a chance of that as Martial does of activating that clause tbfTBH I could care less if Pogba goes on to win the ballon d'or just glad he is out of our club
I genuinely think it was only Juve. Leonardo at PSG liked him but he was moved on, Real said they weren’t interested…he’s probably the player with the biggest discrepancy between their reputation and performances I can think of.It's hilarious that anyone would believe City were interested.
He'd already been in talks with other clubs for weeks at the point. Are you mad?
After his performances and dressing room disruptions, offering him the same astronomical wages he was already on before the the renewal was generous.
Lucky he turned it down and fecked off.

Nobody with any sense absolved Pogba of blame. Like I said at the time - his agent is saying these things because Pogba doesn’t want him to? Of course not.It makes me wonder about all those things that were said when he was on international breaks, we usually excused him blaming his agent
“Everyone within the club [United] from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes,” Raiola told The Times. “Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.”When has Pogba disrupted the dressing room? Please point me to where you got this information.
All reports say otherwise by the way:
“Rangnick valued Pogba’s efforts to mediate aspects of the dressing room. He was also one of the players to command major respect from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pogba gave encouragement to centre-back Harry Maguire whose final touch had been to clear the ball into the stands. “We have to believe in ourselves,” Pogba said. “You’re an £80 million player for a reason.”
On another occasion, when a meeting of some players with Rangnick about form turned unexpectedly into a targeted tactical discussion, Pogba went back later to apologise to United’s interim manager for the way things had gone.”
He was seemingly one of the few trying to keep the dressing room together
What exactly has he done wrong? He didn’t like the fact United waited to make him an offer - this was reported in the same Athletic article that mentioned the meeting with Guardiola - and went somewhere else
what is wrong here?
Yeah I thought the same. An agent doesn’t do anything without approval from his client. Especially not multiple timesNobody with any sense absolved Pogba of blame. Like I said at the time - his agent is saying these things because Pogba doesn’t want him to? Of course not.
Exactly and I have zero problems with this. We made him an offer we felt reflected his contribution, he got insulted and fecked off. This is how it should be, and also what we should’ve done at his last renewal. It's the Tevez situation again.
We didn't want to extend the contract. So we made a half-hearted last minute offer that we could be PR spin it as a player rejection after the event. But to all intents and purposes, it was the club rejecting the player in as passive aggressive a way as possible.
At a time where people can't afford to fill their car with petrol or their shopping trollys with food, he's whinging about being offered £300k a week to play football for Manchester United.
I appreciate it might be annoying for him but nobody wants to hear it.
I'm confused about his statement of a "nothing offer". Is he saying we offered him nothing, or that we suggested £300k and that was a nothing offer?
Either way hes a bit of a tit. Making a documentary about a player who has never reached the heights of other great CMs in this generation is pathetic to say the least
He’s got nothing but abuse on hereIt makes me wonder about all those things that were said when he was on international breaks, we usually excused him blaming his agent
Turns out it’s a pretty big problem when you turn it down out of disgust, wait for the phone to ring then find the only other offer you get is one for half that. That probably stings a bit.People can’t afford to do a lot of things, all the time. I’m one of them. I don’t think it’s a healthy exercise to project your self-loathing or unhappiness with your life at a footballer.
Anger regarding standard of living should be going to Boris or something.
Playing football for Manchester United - as cool as it sounds - it’s still a job. If he doesn’t believe the offer made to him was a fair one, he can say so. Like any other professional. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, and my question was “what exactly has he done wrong?”
There are a LOT of defenders of Pogba and his behaviour even in this thread. You don't need to go far to find them. And plenty of people genuinely believed that it was nothing to do with Paul, it was his agent, blah blah. Then there's this video which shows the complete opposite. He’s got nothing but abuse on here

@TsuWave where is the fan fiction exactly? People are quoting you VERBATIM what Paul Pogba and his expired agent have said past and present about our club.
Turns out it’s a pretty big problem when you turn it down out of disgust, wait for the phone to ring then find the only other offer you get is one for half that. That probably stings a bit.
If money wasn’t his primary motivation why did he get butthurt about our offer???? what is a big problem? And problem for whom? It seemingly isn’t for Pogba. He’s made it known money wasn’t is primarily motivation here. United’s offer was still there if he wanted.
None of that has anything to do with what I asked though. “What exactly has he done wrong here?”
There is a big difference between feeling dissatisfied with an offer and dismissing it as "nothing". Furthermore, when you factor in that the offer involved large sums of money (even for a professional footballer) then of course it is going to annoy people who hear him talk like that. It's baffling that you don't understand that to be honest.
