I want more of him. Looks much better and more confident than in previous appearances.

It's against one of the worst sides in possession in the League but he looks bloody good tonight.

We know he's class but I'm not going to say what I want to say until he signs that new contract.

I feel there's no way we'd give Pogba minutes without some confidence that he has agreed to sign.

Playing him when we don't know he's staying would be like putting him in the shop window, and if we knew he was set on leaving we wouldn't be giving him minutes.

This squares with some of the talk a couple of weeks ago that Pogba was actually close to agreeing a new deal and that Morrison was the more likely to go.

Nothing to get excited about but he didn't look out of place. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Fergie using him at least indicate all hope is not lost when it comes to him signing a new contract.

Impressed with his choice of passing, and the weight he puts on the ball. Also impressive that he wanted the ball that much - did not in any way hide like a young debut player often would.

Promising display.

2 excellent crosses. 1 great long ball to Valencia. Nice piece of skill in the far corner.

Quite majestic must I say.

Did well. We've certainly got a player that could go on to achieve great things in the game. Looked a lot more confident than he did in the Carling Cup too.

Either that or he's trying to give him a reason to stay (as if he needs one).

Aye, it must mean something that he has been involved. Pogba looked like he really enjoyed himself tonight, lets hope that appearance will have helped sway him.

Said this in the match thread but: It's nice to see Pogba looking comfortable in the surroundings of the first team. Just being on the bench, even when he's not been coming on, has almost certainly helped get his his head used to the idea of being part of the squad.

His best first team cameo yet.

Losing Morrison is a shame. Losing him AND Pogba would be a fecking disaster.

Word, don't want to think about that. He looked hungry did the Pogbasaurus tonight, Berba picked up the ball on the edge of our box and he bust a gut running forward. He looked upset when Berba cockblocked him on the last chance at the end too.

Nice little cameo from Pogba. Very excited about this lad. Really hope he signs a long term contract with us.

Yup, the game was quite dull and straightforward, but the introduction of Pogba certainly made the game much more enjoyable, and I got quite giddy.

Although Everton scoring might have had something to do with that as well.

He looked amazingly confident. Good match to involve him in considering we have a few big games he may not feature in. Really hope he gets to play Vs Ajax and signs a new contract. He could easily be a star.

I loved that cameo. Some wonderfully intelligent touches, a couple of good bursts of pace, good simple tidy passing, got into a good position to get a shot away and a couple of very good crosses.

All-in-all that looked much more like the player people were raving about for all this time. He seemed extremely tentative and shackled in his first 2 first team appearances.

All this first team training is paying off, I think. His confidence is high and that was silky as feck. I think he made 100% of his passes (not including the crosses, which were delish anyway). Nice cameo.

He's the greatest thing since sliced bread. We should give him 100k a week tomorrow. He should be starting on his own in a 1-man midfield. He is the reincarnation of Bobby Charlton, Duncan Edwards and somebody black. Patrick Viera. Yes, that's the one.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Seriously, though. He did well. But let's not get carried away.

He exudes confidence and grace. Seems like all the training with the first team has payed off, he hardly looked out of place.

It is careful that we don't get carried away here, however I'm still very happy to see him step up to the plate and play well in the first team. More of the same please.
