I hate him, I don't understand why he is still refusing to sign a new deal with us. He has taken the club for a ride.

You and John crack me up, all of your posts are just filled with panic and hysteria. I can't even imagine you composed enough to type out a post.

I'm sure we had players in the past who considered going elsewhere, decided to stay and were brilliant for us... A player is allowed to look around and think, even if he's playing for United.

Unfortunately I can't shake the feeling a few others here have, that he's already decided to go and is keeping quiet until the end of the season.

He's 19 with amazing potential at one of the top 3 clubs in the world yet he wants to move to a much worse club in a much worse league for more money. That's not the same as Ronaldo wanting a move to Madrid.

Its just getting incredibly old and boring now, will he, wont he....meh what ever. Yes he is POTENTIALY a great talent, he is also POTENTIALY an easily led lad who will allow his agent to repeat this crap every contract negotiation.

This season, he won't be needed very much, anyway. He has time to decide. No big pressure.

Sir Alex has his transfer target list, ready, in case the boy decide to feck off.

We'll cope.

Much worse league? That statement is bollocks at best, Serie A is rather good at the moment, as shown by the season before lasts Champiod League winners sitting in 7th.

Much worse team? A side unbeaten in one of the top leagues in the world, with a marvellous history, barring Calciopoli.

Some people need to take the specs off and look at things with a bit of perspective.

EDIT: if I was in his position I'd give it serious thought if Juve were offering me first team football, that's as a local Manchester lad who loves United to bits.

Only problem being that there's no way he'l be a first teamer at Juve, will he? He has as much of a chance, if not more, of making it here at United than he does at Juve.

He goes we'll sign a midfielder. I then get to spend the summer months muppetting to my hearts content. (Although we'll probably do our usual and announce everyone we've signed in the first week of the transfer season leaving me with a empty soulless summer. Heartless bastards).

Internet saying he'll sign with Juve in a few weeks.

But if he stays can we now treat him as " like a new signing" for muppet purposes.:)

OK, "much worse" is probably too far, but it's still clearly inferior right now and has been much worse over the last 10 years.

He's played in league matches and in Europe for us, clearly the message from SAF is that he will be given opportunities in the first team. It's nothing to do with United bias, it just makes no sense from a footballing perspective.

Juventus arguably has a stronger midfield than us with Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio. How the feck is he gonna play first team there and I'm sorry even with my specs off, if I'm a young footballer I'll look to play for Manchester United or Arsenal before Juventus.

That's a bizzare of way of proving how Serie A is rather good.

Inter Milan of two years ago is nothing similar to Inter Milan of now.

time to move on. let Lingard, Larnell Cole, and Tunnicliffe be the next subjects of hype. at least they've been at the club long enough to understand what it means to pull the shirt on...

Maybe we should have suspected something from the way he let us rail-road him out of Le Havre...

C'mon now...I can't believe some of you. Look there is not one of us that wouldn't have done the same to move to United. If you say you wouldn't then trust me, your in the minority. Moving to United was obvious.

Moving to Juve for much more cash too

How about this - the day Sir Alex gives up..we give up. Until that day, we have a bit of common sense

We've been told many things. Many things by liers. The agent don't care how the fans feel about the player. He can say what he wants. Even if he's offered more money, I doubt seriously he'd turn his back on first team football in the premiership

We really dont know that. All we know is that the contract has not been signed yet and money might be one of the issues. Just think of yourself - if you join HSBC and then JPM comes in and offers you 100k more a year, wouldnt you be tempted?

Players are career and money orientated. Most professionals would only want success for a club if benefited them personally. They are not fans.

Nothing wrong with that but a move to Juventus would strongly suggest the motivation is money rather than it being a career decision, from a career perspective it doesn't make sense.

Juventus won't offer him first team football. No top club can guarantee a player this young some first team football.Juventus' current midfielders are a lot better than Pogba, he'd be on the bench and would get may be more playing time off it than at United

He might think that if he has to sit on the bench, at least cash in big time

Raiola was also asked for his opinion on another of his clients, Pogba, the French teenager who Juventus have made an offer for.

“The boy has a difficult decision to make,” Raiola continued. “He’ll either stay at United or join Juventus – they are his options.

“It’s an important decision that could decide a career and it is a decision that has to be taken with calmness.

“United believe in him and they want to renew his contract, but it will depend a lot on the desire of the player.”

Well they have 27 league titles and 2 Euro cups and they have produced players through youth and they are in the Champions league next year so its not like its laughable for a player to chose them over us! I get the feeling he is gone already but would be great if Fergie can change his mind last minute. Theres always a chance of that with Fergie.

and how Raiola can convince him to go to Juve were he'll get his agents fee.

The thing to remember here is that Juventus are every bit as prestigious a club as United, especially to a Frenchman. Sitting on the bench at United or sitting on the bench in Turin will surely come down to who makes the better offer.

I don't see why achievements from 30+ years ago should have much influence on his decision. In any case, United are at least equal to Juventus in terms of prestige and history. They haven't won a domestic or european title for a decade. United are much more likely to be the more successful club over the next 5-10 years. It's obviously a downward step at the moment in terms of potential success and trophies which suggests money is a big factor.

By that logic an offer from Liverpool would be as just as enticing

Not necessarily, Juventus can offer Champions League football, Liverpool can't.

Of course it'll come down to money but it's not like he's leaving us for Man City. Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in the world whatever way you measure it.

If it was down to money only he wouldn't choose Juventus - it's not like they are paying big wages anymore

If you measure it by recent success they're not. Anyway, you agree that it will come down to money.
