Well money will obviously play a decisive factor, I'd imagine he'll receive a substantial rise in wages wherever he goes.

Money is the reason why he'll definitely leave Juve, even if they continue their domestic domination and stop being totally dogshite in the Champions League, they just won't afford to match the wages he's getting in Spain or England, would destroy their wage structure.

I'd love to see him back at United. Future captain!.....Can't see it happening though. Schneiderlin or Strootman far more realistic?

If we want him, its as realistic as the other 2. Its Juve we're talking about.

I dont think even Real will be an issue. Pogba wants to be a starter, that much is clear. Where is the space at Real? Ditto Bayern. Barca are banned.

And does he have a point to prove here?

Based on reputation, 35-50 million I reckon. Noone spends 80-100 million on a central midfielder.
If anyone is going to do it , it's Woody.
I agree with Kid Moyes though. I'm not so pushed about how much we spend anymore, I want to see the look of disbelief and disgust on other fans faces again.

He's a kid who has won pretty much nothing of note. He has it all to prove. If anything, he'l be even more driven here given he left once because he couldnt get a start. In any case, Club of our stature. Top league. Money. That'l be enough.

Strootman is so overrated I don't get the hype around him I'd much prefer schneiderlain, he's still young, is prem proven and isn't coming back from a serious injury like strootman. He would be ALOT cheaper too.

on topic though Pogba would be better than anyone and I'd kill for him back here.

Two Serie A titles is nothing of note? :)

Have I missed something or is this thread active purely because of those quotes released earlier this week?

Not a big fan of him but LvG is not gonna drop 3-5-2 any time soon and if pogba's the answer for it then yes.. I don't care of his price tag just sign him... Couldn't be any worse than Rooney

What does he even earn in Italy? Probably joke wages compared to what he would earn in the Premier League.

4.5 million euro net in his latest contract, according to various reports. That should be around £130k gross a week, if my calculations are correct.

Is that including or excluding tax? Higher taxes in Italy I think?

Pogba and Reus are Madrid bound in the summer. That's a certainty. Modric and Bale I reckon will be sold to make way.

I can see Real going for Aguerro too so City may fancy a swap deal with Aguerro for Bale....There's no way City will give us a free run for Bale

Memphis Depay will probably be our winger signing in the summer but we definitely will be in with a small chance for Bale due to the Giggsy influence

Even Madrid aren't crazy enough to sell Modric, he's probably their second best player.

'Even Madrid aren't crazy enough', I don't know if that exists. I think Madrid really think in marketing terms more than anything else, which would be supported by the fact they were willing to sell Di Maria.

If Modric and Bale are both up for sale, I know I'm going to be in the minority, but I'd rather we went for Modric!

You could be right, I just think it's really unlikely.

I'm a big fan of Bale but I'd rather we signed Modric too, we'd have one of the best midfields around then.

He does a special outside of the right foot control near the touchline so often and it works great to dribble his opponent everytime he does it. It's like they don't think he can keep it under the control with the space so tight.
