It was poor positioning and judgement but very few players would score from there even having been given the opportunity.
I think you two are being extremely generous in describing it as "poor", it was diabolical goalkeeping, not only the decision to come out, but how stupid he then was in not getting some of his body between Aguero and the goal.

Not a howler, but close to bad goalkeeping. Just watch it again. The ball went through a small gap between his right arm and thigh.
He is trying to force his way out, I guess. 
He has been average all season, he needs a change of scenary and we need a new goalkeeper.
He almost got caught out by a great shot but managed to save it nontheless. Awful goalkeeping that and blatant luck!
