Fabregas and Eboue rated 50/50 to be fit for the match on Wednesday against Juve so do we take it that they won't be playing against us on the saturday beforehand?

So we're playing them yesterday then

What was the score?

Arsenal have been in good form lately, but they've played their last five matches at home. Just before their winning streak, they beat Fulham 4-0 away, but before that they lost two consecutive games away to Liverpool and Blackburn.
They key here will be to make sure Henry sees as little of the ball as possible, and that Fabregas - if he plays - is closed down quickly in the centre of the park and his passing angles are cut out. Flamini has done decently in a makeshift fullback position, but Ronaldo should be able to give him a lot of trouble down that flank.

----Rooney----Saha------
Park--Giggs--Oshea--Ronaldo
Mick--Vidic-----Rio--G.Neville
------------VDS-------------

2 - 1
Saha + Ruud to come on and score the winner.

Well let me suggest one thing some might slate me for it but lets say SAF suggested what I have in mind.

032 Devil or Spoony might back me on this one.

I am thinking a 4-3-3 formation and the group will be like this

Ruud - Saha
Rooney
O'Shea - Giggs - Ronaldo
Mickey - Vidic - Rio - Gaz

I know what you guys are thinking but hear me out, in this formation the only thing we have a problem with is our right hand side but we will need Gaz to work a little harder and if Gaz is playing at 100% I am sure we will manage.

So attacking wise we have Ronaldo who can switch from right to left hand side and Rooney coming from behind to support Saha and Ruud.

Defensive and Attacking midfield, who better than our Welsh Prodigy who will cover the midfield whilst getting Rooney to help out from the front, O'Shea would able to run the left handside if not then we have Park.

Our defence need to sharpen up a notch more as we need to be solid in the back and not concede daft goals.

Anyways I may be talking bollocks but I guess I have everything covered.

2-2

Whenever we're in bad form going into this one, we seem to win & vice versa.

Why is anyone advocating a 4-3-3 formation when all our recent success and fabulous football has been 4-4-2? If it's not broken, don't fix it. Tight game but home advantage should swing it. United to win by one goal.

from what i heard from fergy - ruud may play as he is fresh - anyway as someone mentioned both teams on top form, ill go with a 2-0 to us, ronaldo & ruud

feck that cm, we have the best strikers on earth.
We have better defenders, goalkeeper and strikers than them.

Absolutely, forget that 4-3-3 once and for all. 4-4-2, end off. I'd play Ruud instead of Saha this time as he has a good record against Arsenal

VDS as lone striker, and having 2 keepers is a genius idea

VDS
Neville - Rio - Vidic - Silvestre
Ronaldo - O'Shea - Giggs - Rooney
Saha - Ruud

How about... Giggs on the left, and Rooney in the middle? Or is that too outlandish.

Ronaldo - O'Shea - Rooney - Giggs
---------Saha - RVN
Its not all all outlandish, god knows why Fergie feels its better with Giggs in the middle and Rooney wide left.

0-5 Henry 2 goals and Reyes,Van Persie and Adebayor score the other goals.

I'll say a boring 1-1 both teams to cancel each other out.

second the 4-3-3 (replace o 'shea with park) but not against arsenal. against sunderland maybe to see how it works. for the arse game:

vds
gaz - rio - vidic - silvestre
ronaldo - o 'shea - giggs - park
rooney - saha

think it'll be a 3-2 win for us. ronaldo on fire.
who do you guys think will be better at marking henry, vidic or rio?

It'd be Rio

whats the odds on ruud starting - fergy did drop a hint saying he'd be fresh for this game so you never know?

Wonder what wenger has in his mind. On the last two occasions he has packed the midfield and it worked in Highbury. He also has that Diaby bloke he can play in the middle.

wenger's statment today about helping Chelsea should fire our players up........2-1 or 3-1 to United.
