We cant replace him and get CM and Striker in. He is worth 60-70m for us right now because it will take that much more to replace him.

I really think we should try and keep him around. He's the only midfielder we have who would actually belong in the type of team we should be aiming to become (maybe Bruno depending if you class him as a midfielder). He's been wasted here because he's not the type of player who will turn us into a title winning team single handedly but for me it's not dissimilar to Ronaldo, players like him and pogba are playing on a different, better wavelength than the rest of the team. Ronaldo makes runs that no one spots, pogba has the vision to make passes that we don't really have the players to make best use of.
Even if it means a big contract, if we're serious about trying to become title challengers he's the type of player we need to hold onto, we already need to buy two midfielders in the summer, replacing pogba would likely cost an extra £60-70m minimum on top of that

Any deal he signs with us will almost certainly be his last, effectively rendering the constant drama over his future obsolete.
I would be slightly concerned about his fitness record, but his ability to produce the goods is worth the risk I feel. We simply don't have another midfielder anywhere close to his level.

His agent is utter poison but would still like to see what he could do in this team with a proper DM behind protecting the back four
Someone wants him to stay!Him and Bruno are our best players. We need to build our team around them with proper coach. Especially consider our full backs are not as creative and as good on the ball as Trent, James, and Robertson, and no one in the full back markets can be as good as them, we need to have someone quality in midfield instead.
Contract talks under way. Putting himself in the shop window. World Cup year. What could possibly be motivating himself to up his game? If we offer him 500k per week then basically we get what we deserve when in a years time he's once again looking for a new challenge or reverts back to only showing up when he wants to or suddenly gets injured after the world cup so he can spend another few months in Dubai.

We need to pull away from the type of contract he wants. He clearly doesn’t want to stay based on a love of United otherwise he would have signed already. It’s madness paying 300-500k per week
I'd only offer him the same salary he's already on. Otherwise, we need to cut ties with him for both our sakes. He's not that good where we have to further skew our salary structure.

We'll have the Pogba we've seen for most of the last six years as soon as the ink is dry on a new contract if he gets one.
I wouldnt change the current offer. He’s good but also injury prone and error prone defensively. If he wants to stay then great, but if he goes that wont be catastrophic.
He is light years ahead of Fred as a footballer, and will most likely be better than who ever we sign to replace him....the situation isn't ideal of united, am not sure if it is best to keep him or let him go.
We need better, 3 new midfielders imo.

You almost fooled me, Pogba is very aware he has massive leverage in negotiations, if he stays or leave it will be at his terms.
Literally anybody who isn't injured 1/3 of every season, a complete passenger defensively and doesn't dither on the ball forever before losing it half the times they receive it. Because that's the Pogba we see more than the one we saw at the start of this season.
Like I said, very few players are going to be better than Pogba on his day, nobody is disputing that. There will be multiple players who would be more effective than him over the course of a season.
He'll stay, he's already doing PR with the fans at the end of the game.
