Harry Redknapp post jungle stint..
I do not want Niko Kranjcar at United.
Harry Redknapp post jungle stint..
No idea who United should go for but I think the club need to go back to basics. Whoever it is needs to have a vision of playing attacking football. At this point he might turn out to be the superior Mourinho. I agree though, he's far from the ideal choice.
I think Blanc would do well. Unfortunately we won’t need an interm manager. Everyone at the club can see the writing on the wall but we won’t act until top 4 is unattainable.I would agree. Poch will be difficult to get, the other two are easy. As someone before said, i would bring in Blanc til the end of the season since he knows the club and has experience and then bring in a permanent manager in summer
The next manager has to be someone who will have a attacking philosophy. We've been down the experienced route and that hasn't worked.
I would seriously consider Eddie Howe for the job with Rene Mulensteen as his assistant. Howe is someone that sets up to play football and has done a fantastic job at Bournemouth.
I was of the same opinion as you too, regards going for experience, but not anymore. We need to bring someone in who will start to recreate an attacking identity at the club and I would be happy to see Howe given that task.I never considered Eddie Howe a serious contender for the job due to his lack of experience at the highest level and no silverware. I also thought he might crumble under the pressure.
I've changed my mind, give him a chance - we've literally got nothing to lose now.
Agree nothing to lose now. We're already in the midtable and if howe came we're not getting relegated either because he's kept a Bournemouth team with lesser players competitive for a long time already. The only way is forwardI never considered Eddie Howe a serious contender for the job due to his lack of experience at the highest level and no silverware. I also thought he might crumble under the pressure.

Can it get any worse? Only Southampton have created less chances than us this season. We can only go up from our current predicament and a negative goal difference. Worst start in 28 years..There are literally no top options available to us, and disturbingly enough we have Bayern and Real Madrid chasing the same guys. You think it’s only about sacking Mourinho and it’s all good? Trust me, it could be worse. Our bord have one hell of a task at hand
Surely this can't be right!?Can we get Eddie Howe on the potential next managers list? @Raoul

Howe is nothing like Moyes, their footballing philosophies are a world apart.Howe would be Moyes mrk II
Incredibly naive to think managering little Bournemouth is any kind of qualification to becoming manager of Manchester United
Things are bad right now and we all want change but Mourinho has delivered two trophies and a 2nd place finish with an FA Cup Final appearance, things can get a lot worse so let's not let things get any worse by hiring someone like Howe
No point going for Mourinho lite

Pochettino has been the man from the day moyes was sacked.
Moyes was never a Man Utd manager due to how he set his team up and how they played football. Just another Sam Allardyce as far as I'm concerned. He was fortunate he was good pals with SAF which led him to getting the job.1- how is that relevant?
2- the job Moyes did with Everton was much more impressive than what Howe has done with Bournemouth - don't forget where Everton were when Moyes took over, don't forget how long he was their manager for never in any relegation danger, consistently sniffing around the top 4/6
Moyes was never in a million years the right appointment and neither is Howe

Eddie Howe is a forward thinking manager who plays attractive football the way a top club like ours should be playing. He's doesn't send out his teams to play the shit on a stick football we saw under Moyes or are currently seeing under Mourinho.
All in for Poch.
Surely Madrid bound and if he isn't why would he want to swap Spurs for us? Ok we're on another stratosphere in terms of club size but he'd be swapping Vertonghen for Smalling, Eriksen for Mata, Kane for Lukaku
Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers have had their chance. Rodgers to be fair should've won the league if Slippy G didn't take a tumble. But like I said, they've both had their chance and I wouldn't want them either.Roberto Martinez is also a forward thinking manager, as is Brendon Rodgers and both of those have more qualifications to be Manchester United over Eddie Howe and I sure as hell don't want either of them either
Howe would be Moyes mark II

Where would that end? City are a bottomless pitThe club should just throw £100m at Guardiola and steal him from City.
Then so be it. Moyes MK 2 is no different to Jose Season 3. What needs to happen is quick appointments of managers and then sacking of managers so we get to go through a shed load with minimal secondary effects for failures whilst hopefully identiying the one that fits the clubs ethos and helps us grow in to a world wide force that stays in the cloud high for a long lasting time.
If we get rid of Jose now, we could arguably give the job to Butt, Howe and carrick all in a space of 360 days. Ie give the job to butt until the end of the season, if it doesnt work give it to Howe and if that doesnt work give it to carrick. 3 positions out with minimal damage & 3 less managers we have to contemplate whether they are any good for us.
Thank Christ you're just a fan on the internet
This is a ridiculous post. There are literally 100 managers in the world that could have us in 8th place or better given 400 million and 5 windows like Jose. This is an absolute red herring often thrown out there by Jose defenders "oh, it might get worse if we replace him". IT CAN'T GET ANY WORSE. We are in 8th place for Christ's sake. We are drawing at home to Crystal Palace!!! We have absolutely nothing to lose by replacing Jose. What? Would we finish in 10th instead of 8th? Give me a break. There are literally no top options available to us, and disturbingly enough we have Bayern and Real Madrid chasing the same guys. You think it’s only about sacking Mourinho and it’s all good? Trust me, it could be worse. Our bord have one hell of a task at hand

Forget talks of winter war chests, skip signing any player with this clown in charge and go all out to buy Poch out of his contract whatever it takes.
We want someone who’ll stay beyond the customary 2-3 years, check.
Develops young players, check.
Attacking, pressing football, check.
And well experienced in the league. An absolute no brainier, any other coach will cost the club a hell a lot more should it go wrong after the 100% fail rate post-Fergie.
