Portsmouth vs Manchester United Wednesday 15 August (19:45 BST)

From what I've heard it was a good first half but we should have scored more goals.

Can anyone give a good HT analysis who watches the game?

HT 1-0 Good half.

Expected more from Portsmouth, hopefully we can stay in control of the match

Don't get excited about Reading  , they're only 30minutes into their game, plenty of time to feck it up.

Exactly, and we've had about a page of people gloating. If you want to get giddy, wait until they are 1-0 up in second half injury time.

Reading are putting the pressure on Chelsea, Oster just hit the post from a close range and Doyle missed a good chance a few minutes ago, they are dominating.

he switches banks to many times during the game nowadays...if he would stick to hers starting position more often the team would be better off in certain games

He doesn't really switch though. He spends most of his time inside. The idea should be to swap positions only when there's someone to swap with, so that there as many passing options available in different areas of the pitch.

hopefully reading can hold on for the win against chelsea. would make our draw with them even better at least :D

Even then you wouldn't put it past that fat lump to score a deflected goal.

Ht:
Good work so far but We clearly need another goal.Scholes and Carrick have been very good.Nani lively.Ronaldo has not done much so far.He looks a fcking different player this season.Always going inside and playing central.Maybe its becuase of our striker situation.Tevez has been ok.

Giggs has been shit so far. While we have done alright in all other positions.

Reading player just missed a sitter. Hit the post.

Who else has money on Essien (deserved) and lamps scoring tonight and it ending at least 3-1

Ronaldo is going to have to get used to being man marked...sometimes twice over. All the managers will now say...block him and you block a lot of united's attacks. However we have so many different attacking options now. He's going to get frustrated a lot this season, especially with the lower half teams. But he has so much skill, I reckon he will learn quickly to counteract this...

wow...I think like a journalist :smirk:

I don't think they were gloating, simply expressing happiness at our rivals going 1-0 down. Nothing wrong with that.
