I managed to get in the press conference should I ask a question from RedCafe.net

You better!

We will need to ask resident expert @Dr. Funkenstein what went wrong for Ajax who are 2nd only to Barca. Mourinho is past it manager so feckwitstein will surely tell us how there was no masterclass and it was all Ajax's own making.
I'm sure he's busy lamenting the death of football and the victory of primitive barbaric tactics. Ajax would have scored if only United were properly schooled in Dutch vision and awareness.

Just realised that the 3 fingers was instigated by someone off camera, either a PR man or camera man.

Edit - scratch that I thought Mourinho was instructed but it seems like it was his idea

I love how Herrera was super attentive when Jose was making his point, and went all "yes! 3! YES YES YES YES YES!!" once he realised what Jose was on about.

Watching a Mourinho team isnt something one does for fun is it? Easy win against a bunch of small children, but Mou's brand of football gives me kidney stones.

Love this! 3 trophies, champions league, So much money and best of all a good muppet season is upon us. Has theo griezmann tweeted yet. Also look at my shiny new tagline

I just remembered we played this match without our top goalscorer and best 2 CBs. José's done incredible here.

It's amazing how you guys listening to the British pundits have to deal with their ABU discussions whilst I and many other Canadians here get to experience the unbiased and proper discussion of the final from TSN. I swear, they are the only ones from all of the major media outlets who currently seem to think that we controlled the match and were the better side throughout. I think it might have something to do with how Toronto FC eked out crucial victories over the past few seasons.

The US media thought most the same. They said it "wasn't pretty" but we controlled the match and shut down Ajax.

Dont know how anyone could see it differently, it was pretty comfortable tbh

It's amazing isn't it! And the CBs that filled in did an amazing job anyway.
They did! I had faith in Blind but Smalling worried me. Thankfully, they, as did the whole team, played superbly!

The problem is all our attackers are either injured or misfiring. Mourinho's classic football style is very much the same as what we played in the last few years of Fergie in the big games. Solid, somewhat defensive, but when attacking it's done with skill, speed and going for the throat. His teams have been the leagues top scorers in something like 9 of the 12 seasons. At the moment we just don't have the attacking ability to do that unfortunately.

Looks like their lack of footballing arrogance and view as an outside party helps them with this unbiased perspective. They weren't particularly attached to either side unlike the Europeans, who seemed to low-key root for Ajax just because of their total football heritage and significant number of young players in their team.

Very happy with this result, so important for the future of this club. But I really hope we'll be playing different next season, it's very hard for me to enjoy the way we're playing.

Fellaini, Darmian, Smalling and Blind are usually the ones getting the criticisms, but they've all done really well today. Also Herrera and Valencia is so dependable, every time I see them close to the ball I feel safe and relieved.

Fooooooking amazing lads. What a game. I was watching it with a bunch of ABUs so it felt amazing at the end.
