It's amazing how much this win has lifted us as fans and as a team. I find myself strutting around like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Watch the hair!

Chuffed to bits for this team. What a win, so proud of them to hoist the trophy.

I am almost as happy as I was in our last title win

What an important win! The performance in defence was fantastic. Not so much in attack but 2 goals were more than enough.

Hate saying I told the whole world Utd will win, but it was never in doubt for me.

No disrespect to ajax but it was men against boys out there

It was like playing Arsenal- all pretty and nice touches going nowhere

Fantastic result, and a huge mental prop !! After Manchester and the loss of Chris Cornell, finally this is a good way to wake.

Just so happy for JM & the team. It's been a tough year for Jose with the press, so called pundits and Judas chants and what not. He has done it, we're in the CL and the team will only get stronger during the transfer window. Ed Woodward to take it from here :)

Football does not mean a lot right now and must have been difficult for the team and backroom staff to prepare for the game.

Fittingly a team performance every player doing their job.

Manchester will recover but never forget Monday night.

Absolutely vintage Jose last night.

He totally nullified Ajax, they couldn't get going at all. We were in total control from Pogba's goal onwards.

It was fantastic.

It was horrible to watch - but as Jose once said: Finals you don't play - finals you win. And this was a tactical masterpiece from Jose. Ajax couldn't cope with Fellaini and Pogbas muscles - and as Ajax completely lack muscles and height, by keeping a tight defense, they never really stood a chance. They got the ball 30 yards from goal, couldn't get a shot in so eventually they lifted the ball in, which naturally never worked against Smalling

So credit to Jose for this - but I only want to see this kind of football in finals and REALLY tough awaymatches, because we are too good to rely on this kind of football to win games.

MOTM: Many to choose from - but I would give it to either Smalling, Fellaini or Valencia - possibly Fellaini. Mata, Mkhitaryan and Rashford the only 3 who didn't get anywhere near their normal level.

Completely nullified Ajax, proud of the team and the tactics. Difficult circumstances with what's happened in the city, a number of games piled upon the team in a short amount of time, the shit fixture list. No help from the PL moving fixtures, the crazy amount of injuries at a crucial time of the season. But we still fekking won a European trophy!!!

So, Marcus Rashford has been a 1st team footballer for about 15 months.

Hes won the FA Cup, Charity Shield, League Cup and Europa League.

And that is while we are apparently shit, can't wait to see what he can win if we ever get good.

We easily could have won that game by 3 or 4... we had all the better chances, we completely controlled the game and won in an extremely comfortable way in a final.

I can't see how any criticism of us last night is valid to be honest.

Cups and United certainly look good with each other. This makes the summer even more entertaining. We should be back to the old days soon and thankfully we have the right leader.

Woke up this morning feeling fine ;)

I'm giving everyone 10/10!

MOTM to Fellaini. Absolutely fecking everywhere and 15, fifteen!! Aerial duels won. Special mention to Herrera, for chasing Mhki back into the box, before the 2-0 goal.

To the ABUs, moaners and doubters... Suck it!!

Jose got it spot on last night. There was a quote from Dani Alves bouncing around at the end of the match;
"You don't play in finals, you win them"

There shouldn't be any criticism of Jose after last night. I honestly think that if Jose would have been in charge for those Champions League finals against Barcelona a few years back, we'd of had an incredible chance of winning.

Anyone complaining or criticising at this point has another agenda.

Still buzzing this morning. Found out this morning there are a few more United fans than I knew in my office, shows how long it's been since we've really had something to celebrate.

Can't help but think United are back :-)

Feel bad for McBride there. Only guy who's making sense on that panel and he's surrounded by idiots who are convinced otherwise.

The state of that lot. "If I were a Man Utd fan, I'd be blablabla..."

Most of us here are United fans, and most of us are pretty satisfied with the season here, are we not? I know I'd take two trophies (and the Shield) over finishing 4th and trophyless.

Absolutely class comments from Jose last night. The sight of him in front of our fans nearly brought a tear to my eye but the Zlatan banner made me laugh my arse off

Despite all the criticism, he's showed why he's right for this club

I know Spurs, Liverpool and City fans would rather see their team with ucl football plus two trophies rather than just top four.

Gratz Manchester United! Wish it were different but we weren't good enough yesterday. Manchester United defended very well and got the lucky goals. That's in the game I guess. Congrats guys!

A bit lucky goals against an Ajax far from its best. The cowardness of Mourinho has rewarded again but wont have made much impression on the footballfans all over the world. United deserves better then Mourinho!

What was lucky about the second goal?

Also, maybe - just maybe - Ajax weren't at their best because we didn't allow them to be at their best?

Next time we'll ask for an in form Barcelona for the final, we promise, hopefully 'footballfans all over the world' will be pleased then.

I absolutely love how so many people said how Ajax's pressing game would kill us, that they can score goals for fun, how people like Fellaini would be lost due the 'forementioned pressing and blahblahblah. In reality it was 'pass to Traore, hope something nice happens' and Fellaini was the best player on the pitch. Can't even remember one time when 'the pressing' put us on a counter.

Are the crutches real or Mourinho staging a show? Young was on the pitch with both crutches, in the dressing room he was dancing without one
