Bournemouth 1:1 Man Utd - Martial (35')

Bournemouth 1:2 Man Utd - Rashford (90' + 2)

Mighty important win with difficult games for Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs coming up.

Relieved more than anything else. Wish we could play well for more than 45 minutes each game.

Phew thank feck for that.

Would have been ridiculous to not win after that second half performance. First half was shite, but magnificent second half as usual.

First team to win away at Bournemouth since... ourselves, back in April.

Thanks goodness! We fully deserved the win. This is huge for us ahead of the next 2 games.

We deserved that. Good second half performance from the lads.

Shocking for the first 30 minutes.. Improved as we went on. Deserved it on balance.. but still expect a lot more.. Those first 30 minutes would cost us the game against most good sides.

First 30 minutes from us were dog shit though. Second half was much better, almost missed the days where we missed shit loads of chances every game

Best team in the second half but could have been 3 or 4 down before we even started playing, Why do we have to wait before we start playing?

Trying to think of nicknames for him.

Rashford is the obvious one. Gashford too. Was thinking about saying he plays like he's been out on the Lashford.

But I can't think of one that succinctly pokes fun at those who write him. Any ideas?

Important win. Better 2nd half performance again. Matic fairly useless again.

Rashford redeemed himself after missing a sitter.

Why do we have to wait until the 2nd half EVERY game?!

Watching this team stresses me out - a much needed 3 points. Very happy with Martial, Rashford, Sanchez and Herrera x

Pogba and De Gea immense. 2 points off the top four. Onwards and upwards.

Pogba in second halves has been absolutely immense this season. Really picks his game up as the opposition tire, impressed with his fitness.

A deserved win. Sanchez should get another run up front. Need to stop playing like they have a bad hangover for the first 30 minutes of every game.

Better to play crap 1st half then come alive 2nd as opposed to the other way round... :wenger:

However it would be more assuring for us to play a decent 90 minutes instead of like 45-70!!

Knew they'd be a late goal one way or the other

Didn't like the subs today though, moving Sanchez from the CF position in place of Rashford was a strange one

Apart from first 30 or so minutes, I think it was one of the best performances this season as a team.

Our first 30 min were horrible.
With Alexis our attack seems much more dynamic than with Lukaku
Matic can not play the 90 min> Herrera looks much more solid
It is preferable that Mata play in a more cetralized position to generate more creativity perhaps in a 4-4-2 diamond

Game of two halves, Bournemouth could have been out of sight, but we were far the better team second half.

Matic has gone to pot though, I’d get Herrera back as a starter in mid atm.

Before Martial equalised, I thought we could have lost the game by any number of goals. That we turned it around and won the game is incredible.

A massive 3 points in the grand scheme of things.

Really good win against a decent side.
We made hard work of it but feck it.
Happy with martial and Rashford both scoring, hopefully they keep it up!
Makes the Chelsea match even more of a stinker though, we'd have won three in a row.
Ps. Sign Ake, very good defender.

We can’t go on missing clear one on ones. 3 we missed today: Shaw, Rashford, and Lindgard.

Decent result, I called a scrappy win before the match and that was the case.

Our defense was very nervous especially in the first half. Bournemouth's CB looked better than ours today but in the end Ake let himself down. Maybe he was tired. But it led to a free chance for Rashford and having missed one already he made up for it

Sanchez worked hard up front with his runs. Reminded me of when we went with Saha starting, stretching play with runs in behind the defense. He also pulled back a good ball for Martial's goal. Of the 3, Lukaku, Rashford and Sanchez that we've tried CF in recent games I think Sanchez looked the best for the benefit of the whole team.

Deserved win for the second half performance. We really struggle to deal with a high press though and that could be a big issue versus City
