Despite being well in control at 2:0 at half-time, and dominating much the second-half, we had to hang on in the end to win 2:1. Groß's goal after 72 minutes gave Brighton hope and they had the better of the closing moments of the match, really pushing for an equaliser. We held on though and claim another crucial three points in the chase for fourth.

We made that hard for ourselves. The complacency in the second half was disgraceful. We were so much on top we thought we could cruise through until the end of the game. So much sloppiness and casual play from players who, in the first half, looked to have their heads screwed on. Very disappointing. Had Brighton equalised we could not have complained. Found Ole's subs very odd as well. That's the worse we've been on the pitch and in the dugout since Solksjaer became manager.

First 60 minutes were as good as we've played under OGS. Last 30 we looked very tired.

Rashford looks to be developing into a top-class player. Pogba, Martial and Lindelof were good too.

Doesn't look great for Lukaku at United.
