Man Utd 2:0 Brighton - Bruno (90' + 7)

For all of the complaining, United actually played quite well and created lots of chances. Finishing needs working on.

Never in doubt! Our secret agent did a great job, thank you Welbeck!

Played worse than the last few games, but actually won this one... go figure

Shit performance. Plenty of clear chances missed, again. But three points.

Dalot/Sancho MOTM.

Pretty shit, but we won. Better pray for some form by the time we face some better teams.

We should have scored atleast 4. Two open goal chance missed

Brighton did some great creativity work for us.

Dreadful performance. We lucked out with them getting a red and Bissouma cocking up within like 5 minutes of each other.

Dominant in the second half, pressing well which led to multiple chances.

Why can't we score the easy chances though!! It's a big problem.

Also, Lindelof and Maguire are solid together.

We really, really, really made that hard for ourselves. How does Bruno dummy the keeper in the 97th minute but side foot it into his arms like half an hour earlier from a much better position? The chances we miss are criminal.

Thank God we got away with it...

The one goal curse is lifted. Let it rain goals!

Brighton are a good team, but we shouldn't have been clinging on in stoppage time against 10 men like that.

Finishing practice resumes at 9am tomorrow lads.

11 v 11 isn't wasn't very pretty but so important to get a win.

Poor first half, must be said. Players looked like they had never played with each other before. Improved 10 fold the first 10 minutes of the second half then mostly controlled the game, while not being great, after Brighton went down to 10 men bar some Brighton pressure in the last 15 minutes.

Delighted that we scored a second goal.

The less said about the performance, the better. We are so very lucky that they had a player sent off.

I knew we'd pick up the tempo on pressing in second half. Ronaldo and Pogba crucial. Bruno improved second half even if still sloppy at times. Tough game for Fred and Elanga. Rashford...

Worst we've played in fecking months and... we win against a good team.

The best part about it was it wasn't on TV.

Not a vintage performance but a big win.

Not a good performance, players seriously lacking in effort which is inexcusable but a welcome win. Don't think it changes anything as I still believe we will struggle for top 6.

We win, finally.

Great game for David again, Sancho was great and Pogba made a difference.

We still would not have won were it not for a Ronaldo screamer and that red.

Also, Rashford needs to get back to basics i.e. the U23s.
