Shit performance for much of the game but good that we kept going and finished really strongly. Rashford was our best player IMO, him and Shaw were excellent throughout. Greenwood got us the win, Cavani and Van de Beek had a good impact as subs to see it out. Rest of the team was pretty mediocre tbh. Henderson with 2 head scratching decisions that he got away with.

Finally have a full week to recover!

People saying poor should stick to fifa. burnley are a tough team to beat. They are physical side & low block team. We did fantastic today to win 3-1. Very good performance from every one today.
Greenwood scoring is a big plus, he’s been fantastic off late.
Onto the next...Leeds scum

Horrible team to play, glad to beat them and I thought we approached the game the right way, young Mason was class, as were Pogba and Shaw, while Bruno and Rashford both had key moments, I also thought Ole got his subs right, I like Pogba in the front 4 but we needed somebody in the double pivot to offer passing quality so the half-time reshuffle was spot on.

We all know how Burnley play, and they are tough to beat.

BUT one thing that is rarely spoken about is how much of a set of diving, cheating bastards they are. Would make Porto under Mourinho blush.

Maybe not out best team ever, but they really have some character. Exciting that games are never done!

Amazing what a week off can do for players eh? We really looked fresh out there and Rashford looked like a man possessed.

Really makes you appreciate how much football we’ve had this season. It’s great the players have a rest bite before Leeds-Roma-Liverpool

In your face shithouse team. Disgusting to watch Burnley "play".

Why didn't our players or staff react more to Wood jumping on Henderson's thigh or Tarkowski elbowing Maguire in their goal. Bizarre really

Another poor first half and excellent second half.
Having said that, this is exactly how you wear down a low block team and win. Mason Greenwood has improved in his all round game all season, but his goalscoring is well and truly back. This is the best version of Mason we’ve seen to date. 70% possession and genuine quick attacking football, just the way we should play  Set piece defending is still poor and needs work, but that’s an issue for another day (training on Tuesday!).

Shoutout to Cavani too. His impact has been brilliant. No one’s banging on about Falcao now.

It still might happen. Everyone knows what I mean by ‘it’ :)

Great win against our bogey team, I'd call that progress. It's clear that teams like Burnley can only hope to get something against us with the 10 man behind the ball approach. The moment they try to play any sort of attacking football, we carve them apart on the counter.

I thought we were good throughout the game, creating half chances across the entire 90 mins. If AWB or Maguire doesn't get outjumped (after making a good block before tbf to Harry) it would've been smooth sailing.

Rashford was back to his pre-injury best today, beating players for fun. Greenwood has found his shooting boots at the right time and Cavani continues his goal scoring form. A good day for the attackers.

The only real negative I can say for today was that Dean was over eager at times, but that comes with the territory of bedding young players in, I'm sure he'll get better with time.

Enjoy the week's rest lads, you've more than earned it.

Rashford’s best game for some time, but Greenwood obviously the MoM with 2 goals. We have to give more playing time for VDB seriously!

Tarkowski wasting time, winking about it and then losing is beautiful football karma.

He also looks like a chimp.

Never look forward to Burnley games, their bits and pieces football always causes us issues and they get more joy playing us then other teams in the PL.

Deserved win in the end but made hard work of it. Those draws in final min of games hurting us now as we could have put pressure on Abu Dhabi!

Legit! Play this stupid aggressive football then go down all the time.

Really good win in the end for what so easily could have been a frustrating day. We really deserved it though and we were really good going forward. I'm really enjoying this form from Greenwood, it's coming right at the time of year that we need. Cavani too, fitter than he's been so far and scoring too. Strong end to the season is on now, and a very welcome break this midweek.

Fantastic result, came on forum at 1-1 (78 min) found out about this super League and now checked the result. From responses the performance was poor ? But it's the result that's needed to atleast open the doors of possibility in city having pressure to get results.

It definitely wasn't a shit performance as some are saying. The first and third goals were beautifully worked, Rashford looked brilliant and lovely to see Greenwood close to double digits despite having the standard second season dip.

They get away with it because of their perennial underdog status and the massive victim complex they always project, but Burnley are the biggest divers in the league.

Very happy with that. Delighted to beat these at home. Overdue.

There I was hoping for nice and easy. With Manchester United. That should teach me!

Absolutely. Generally teams that play this kind of football and depend on set pieces are all like this. Very happy to get physical and then go down when they get touched.

- Pogba very good again, just a fun player to watch
- Rashford looked sharp after a brief rest
- Bruno looks like he needs a rest with too many loose balls but still effective
- Greenwood to pass Rooney for most goals by a Man Utd teenager.
- Cavani made a difference when he came on.
- Good overall result
- With the game in-hand we are only 5 points off, dare to think...

Ever since Martial was injured we are scoring more goals, playing more consistently, and winning by bigger margins. Maybe we can get 25m for him and use that money to get a DM and RW.
