We would have been better off this season with Carrick at the wheel rather than Wreck-it Ralph.. It's turned out to be an absolute shit show of a season..

I`m sure the players will all get on the training ground and work hard to try and turn things around.

The further we tumble down the table the better. The less the board can feck around with the new manager and the more leverage Ten Hag will have with the club guaranteeing they meet his demands. Cheers to this, let the tumble down continue, the owners and board need to wear this, embarrassing fecks.

Best thing about today was Marcus missed three good chances... but for weeks now he hasn't even had the chances...always a silver lining they say!!

Talk about being 'on the beach' Richarlison did a 'keepy-uppy' on his head, and we stood and watched him... talk about taking the wee-wee. Lampard's asked if he can play us in the next eight games

People need to stop attending home games, this will get the message through that we’re not happy about what’s going on and how there playing! Why do people still insist on spending a lot of money that they’ve earned through hard work to watch a pile of crap that don’t deserve any support what so ever.

Bar Sancho, Elanga and any u23 or u18 lads. Name one player who deserves the shirt, i'll wait because there's zero.

Fred was injured, that's why he went off.
Really? I missed the first half and assumed he came off at half time.

Surely putting on Lingard wide left, leaving Matic central and playing Ronaldo and Rashford up front would have been a better approach? We don't need a double pivot against Everton.

Agree. Think the club need to realise this is a culmination of bad decisions from the minute SAF left.

We don't need a good manager, we need a leader that is able to change a toxic culture above anything else. Changing a culture is one of the hardest things you can do.

Whoever the next manager is needs to demand complete freedom to completely gut the squad and sell players at significant losses and release players if it comes to it because no manager on earth is doing anything meaningful with this squad. This isn't a case of needing to sell maybe like 5 or 6 players. This is needing to get rid of the vast majority of an entire squad. Entire sections of the team are completely irredeemable. The full back group, all but one player in the CB group, the entire central/defensive midfield group, the entire centre forward group, even the winger group is awful, its literally the whole team. Unbelievable.

Have you watched Lingard when he has appeared. He can't be arsed either. Bin the lot on that bench and fill it with kids who want to prove something.

Maybe it's better if we remain for a season out of europe and consolidate and rebuild a new team and set-up.

I think fecking off half the players and replacing them with ones with the correct work ethic and attitude is all we can do to achieve that. It seems unrealistic and we never really got for that kind of total rebuild, but I think it's honestly what's needed.

My view is that, provided it doesn't go colossally badly, Ten Hag should get his first season at the club as essentially a free hit. I entirely welcome his appointment, should it indeed be confirmed, but the changes that will need to take place in this side for his style of play to be implemented effectively cannot feasibly be expected to take place within the space of one summer.

Much as an overhaul would be nice right now, realistically all we can expect is for the players whose contracts will be expiring to leave and possibly two or three squad players departing as well. A couple of signings in midfield might help our cause but, unfortunately, serious imbalances are still going to exist in the squad by the time next season starts. In my mind, give an intelligent manager like Ten Hag the season to get to grips with the squad and if we're playing better by May 2023 than we do in August 2022 I'll consider it a success.

He would still be better than Pogba! Lingard will put in the effort if he is given a bit of an opportunity. The manager has showed zero faith in him but will play Pogba, the ultimate example of a modern player who will not try a leg.

At least that approach would have been more attacking. You just need to get a second ball in the box to get a goal against Everton.

Everton ran 10km more than us today. This stat perfectly encapsulates everything rotten with the club.

One team's players who're fighting for their immediate futures, the others who're perfectly content in the knowledge that their wages are going nowhere regardless of what happens to the club.

We have to sell a lot of these players. First team included. Maguire and rashford could raise 100million between them. Go buy some hungry players that the new manager wants and let him totally go to town on this squad. Whatever he wants. Do it. No questions asked. Cannot he worse than this bunch.

most unlikeable united squad we have ever seen.. and the last 9 years have been pretty shite.
Who wants to come to a club where reputations go to die?

Part of the problem is people just think "we'll get a new set of players". Well, not being in the CL means a lot less money. Finishing 5th or 10th means a lot less money. The coaches need to work with the players they have. The players have to work with each other.

Yep. A team which otherwise can't buy a goal.

Today really was just absolutely fecking detestable. Absolute cnuts, the lot of them.
Not even a care for the loyal band of supporters that are paying their hard earned cash when attending these matches either.

Every game has it's own story.
its the same old story with this United team

Lingard has been in a sulk since he didn't get his move in January.

Ladies and gentlemen, get your Jose Mourinho football here. We've got 0-0s, 1-1s, 0-1s, a whole stack full of David De Gea man of the matches and if you're really lucky the occasional 1-0.

My worst fears are coming through regarding what the team would be like after Ole. I just hope the next manager can grow us out of this horrendous style of football and it doesn't take another 5 years or so.

So that implies that United had much more control of the ball……so in effect, United dominated possession, which they did.
