Job done a win and a clean sheet against a dirty negative side.

The ref was joke, 3 united players suspended for the 2nd leg for fouls that weren't yellow card offences. A defence of Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Tuanzebe Telles for the 2nd leg?

Someone in match thread said it's crazy going from watching PSG-Bayern yesterday to watching this and honestly, thinking more about that makes me depressed. Great result but there's barely any joy coming from our general play at the moment it's mental when you watch other big teams in CL.

Job done and never looked threatened. Quality ball from Lindelof and exceptional control from Rashford!

What was up with that ref? No idea why he gave so many yellows out for Man Utd but only two for Grenada. Grenada played really dirty, glad their player got injured when he fouled James. Gonalons constantly chopping Fernandes down too.

Either way we won, no stand out player at all really.

Nice to start putting our previously atrocious record against Spanish sides right this season, if nothing else.

Not sure how we got so many yellow cards. Dare I say we missed Fred?

I think that’s one of the worst games of football I’ve ever sat through. Only one that seemed to have any sense of ability was Lindelof.

It was far, far from pretty but its a fantastic result. Two away goals and a clean sheet. That sets us up very nicely for the second leg.

Happy with that score. Ref was such a joke I really thought he would send one of our lads off.

We need a nice professional performance in the return leg. On to the next game.

2 shots on target says it all against a shit championship quality team.
That's the negative way to look at it.

Another way to look at it is 67% possession, 2-0 win, 2.20 to 0.42 on xG, and a dominant away performance giving nothing away defensively (unless you count 30 yard pot shots as chances...).

Can we just get a bye for the second leg? They're absolute garbage, the worst team I have seen this season by a country mile and just kick out at every opportunity.

Ref with a red card performance.

How was that even yellow for Maguire... softest foul ever.

Not a good game to be honest. But a solid win and that’s what matters. Lindelof man of the match. Didn’t put a foot wrong.

Already forgotten it. Imagine a Spanish team being the shithouse team that doesn’t want to play football.

Can be happy with that. 2-0 away win without getting out of first gear. They weren't great, the referee was worse. Should be in the semi-final vs. Roma now.

yeah and we beat PSG and outplayed them the second game too despite finding a way to lose pathetically. The CL is where we deserve to be at this point, hopefully we get a slightly kinder group next season and play to our potential.

Comfortable win against a team that were only there to kick the shit out of us and roll around on the floor pretending to be injured

Felt confident going back with the 1 away goal, the second was just dandy though

Boring game and we were pretty average but Granada were shite. The suspensions at least force us to rotate somewhat.

A good night's work. Maybe a slight concern with three players missing the return leg but should hopefully be alright.

Granada are a dirty shithouse team. Glad we fecked them off.
This. Don't care how we got the goals as long as we won.
Just need to make sure we don't do any silly things in return leg.

Job done. Very respectable scoreline away from home, although it unfortunately didn't have a great performance to match. The humber of fouls was way too high. Such an annoying stop-start game, and both teams will be missing players now in the second game as a result.

We really can't go out from here though.

To easy. Expected total dominance and got that.

Shocking referee.

Another poor performance - tumescent, lifeless, stodgy, pick your adjective. Good result, though, and another semi final (Ole's fifth) looking all but certain.

Shite game but at least we won.

The Caf forum software really needs a button that just lets you post this one sentence with one click.

Great result, job done, capped by that sweet Rashers goal.

Super average opponent and a little fortunate to get that second goal.

However, that puts it out of sight for them, and we can soak up McTom, Shaw and Maguire's suspensions quite nicely indeed, getting them a rest out of it.

A game I'll have forgotten about by this time next week.

A ref I'll remember forever.

Lindelof,DDG and Bruno were the only real individual positives.

True but then psg got duffed in the league the other day. Fairplay to them for getting it together for a game, and lucky Bayern were missing players and looked all over the shop, made for a decent open game.

I think the Spurs game was in everyone’s mind, we seemed to play well within ourselves. Rashford goal was top quality. The ref was diabolical.
